This weekend we have to make some hard choices, because there is so match to do. There is the Chinese New Year Parade, Womens soccer- Olympic qualification and Dine Out festival in Vancouver and the Bird Kindom in Torronto.

Vancouver – Chinese New Year Parade ” The year of the Dragon”

The Chinese New Year Parade rides through the historic Chinatown which is one of the biggest annual parades in Vancouver. This parade has grown a lot since 1979, and is now one of the must-see event in Vancouver. Attractions like lions, multicultural dance groups, the Vancouver Police Department Motorcycle Drill Team, marching bands and more.

Where: The parade route starts at the Millennium Gate at Pender st. and heads east, turning south onto Gore st. then west onto Keefer St.

Price: It’s free entrance

Time: Mon-Sun 10 am – 1 am

Vancouver – Olympic qualification for the Women Soccer Game

Go to the Women Soccer final Olympic qualification game of North America.

Where: the BC Lions Stadium

When: Sunday 29 January

Times: 17:00 / 20:30

Two weeks ago, two canadian teenagers have sent a Lego man into the outer reaches of the earth. They used a home-stitched parachute and equipment found on Craigslist. It took them about 5 months and if people came into their home and asked them, ‘What are you doing?’ they be like, ‘We’re sending cameras to space.”

This week I would like to share a picture that I took during my amazing trip to Sun Peaks. I took this picture on the top of the mountain where one of my favorite runs, the 5 mile starts. This run was amazing, I did it a couple of times! It was amazing to see all the snow on the trees, just so beautiful!
