As you could all probably tell by now, I am a die-hard foodie. I have a love-hate relationship with food – love the delicious tastes that tickle my tastebuds, but hate the extra pudginess around my muffin-top and chipmunk cheeks. But what is a girl to do?
Well…despite the “side effects” of food, I am happy to introduce “Taste of Yaletown”! This is its 6th annual event, and all of the best and usual pricier restaurants are hopping on as participants to this event. What you would normally pay for would be at a discount price. So if you are all watching your wallet but want to indulge in the posh restaurants in vancouver, this is your chance!
Some participating restaurants include some famous chain restaurants such as Cactus Club and Earls, but also some unique restaurants, such as Glowbal, Goldfish Pacific Kitchen, etcetera.
You can eat and feel good too! All the delicious food you put into your tummy is part of a good cause too. All participating restaurants will donate their 10% evening sales to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
Taste of Yaletown takes place from October 16-31, 2010.
