Lighting winter events in Vancouver

Hi Everybody!
It is wintertime and X-MAS is almost there.
At the moment two events perfectly reflect the winter and X-MAS atmosphere here in Vancouver.
The Coral ship Parade of Lights will be held in North Vancouver in Coal Harbor. It’s actually a parade on the water where more than 50 boats in total decorated with 100.000 lights will carry more than 30.000 people in the evenings from the 3rd until the 23rd of December this year. The lights will shine bright and the reflection of the water makes it even brighter.
It’s definitive worth checking out. Check out this homepage for more infos. (http://www.carolships.org/s/Home.asp)
The second event is taking place in Stanley close to Down Town Vancouver.
A part of the park is lit up with more than 2.000.000 lights. You will also taste the smell of fresh popcorn, roasted chestnuts and you are able chillax with a cup of hot chocolate while watching the beautiful lighting paradise. You can hop on a small train that is making its way through this delightful happening. The event will be held until the second of January. Every day from 3 pm till 10 pm in the night.  The train will cost 9 Dollars.  However it is worth it. I went there yesterday to check it out and it is just amazing.
