Good day INTERNeX family,
This week is all about fun in the sun. August is upon us and there are only so many days left to enjoy this beautiful sunshine. The city is filled with public beaches and parks where one can pick out a good spot and spend an afternoon soaking up the sun. If lying around isn’t active enough for you, try renting a bicycle or a pair of rollerblades for the day and cruise through Vancouver at your own pace enjoying all the sights and sounds along the way.
There are numerous rental places in downtown Vancouver particularly on Denman and Robson streets. The most popular is “SPOKES” located on the corner of West Georgia and Denman street, SPOKES happens to sit at the doorstep to the Stanley Park Seawall. For under $25/day you can ride a mountain bike or road cruiser around town and feel the breeze in your face. Helmets and bike locks are generally included in the rates as well. The Stanley Park Seawall measures 6 kilometres around the park but continues well beyond and into the Yaletown and False Creek neighborhoods. These areas offer spectacular scenery and plenty of photography opportunities.
So this week try jumping on a bike, cruising down the Seawall and discover that hidden rest area in beautiful Vancouver that you can call your own for a brief moment.
