Hi people!

With another weekend ahead, it is time for the famous „what to do on the weekend“ blog post!
And This Weekend is a long Weekend because Monday September the 4th its the Labour Day :-).

It is suitable for all of our candidates: those, who are about to leave soon, those who are in the peak time of their stay and of course our newly arrived candidates who need some tips!

Taiwan Fest

2011 TELUS TAIWANfest returns to Vancouver Downtown during the Labour Day weekend. Highlights are great fusion concerts, funky Techno Prince dance, Taiwanese Aboriginal artisans, inspiring documentaries, fabulous culinary shows, brand new games for all ages, world’s best beef noodle and the first-ever street banquet that celebrates Vancouver 125. This festival is about to change you how you see Taiwanese culture!

Jazz on the Mountain in Whistler
Whistler will play host to the newest jazz festival in Canada, September 2-4, 2011. Set in the resort’s pedestrian Village, with free and ticketed indoor and outdoor shows, visitors will have the unique opportunity to experience performances and interact personally with jazz greats such as Kevin Eubanks – leader of the NBC Tonight Show Band for 18 years.The three-day festival will showcase 22 performers and 33 shows. Street entertainment is being programmed in conjunction with the Whistler Arts Council, free performances will be featured throughout Whistler Village, and ticketed events will take place indoors at Maurice Young Millennium Place and outdoors at one or more of the many spectacular venues in Whistler.

Canadian International Air Show

The 62nd annual Canadian International Air Show (CIAS) soars over Lake Ontario Labour Day weekend for another awe-inspiring show. The 2011 display will feature amazing feats of aerobatic awesomeness and delight air show fans of all ages!
