INTERNeX Canada: What to do on the weekend.

This weekend is going to be a typical wet one in Vancouver. But do not fear, spring is almost here (fingers crossed). In the meantime I have looked for things you can do on the rainy days. We have the Bloedel Conservator, Dr Sun Yat-Sen Classical and Chinese Garden Vancouver Aquarium in Vancouver. Furthermore in Toronto you could go to the Bloor-Yorkville IceFest. Dr Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden

Where: 578 Carrall Street, Vancouver

Hours: 10:00am – 4:30pm

Price: Adults $12.00 and student with ID $9,00

 Bloedel Conservatory

Even on a rainy day the conservatory is open. The Bloedel Conservatory is filled with exotic plants, tropical flowers, colorful Koi fish and over 100 free-flying birds of various species. Tropical plants include palms, bromeliads and many other exotic plants from around the world.

Where: Queen Elizabeth park, 33rd Avenue at Cambie Street in Vancouver

Price:  $ 3,48 Youth (13-18) and  $5,00 for adults (19-64)


 Vancouver Aquarium

The Vancouver Aquarium is the biggest in Canada. They have over about 70,000 fish, whales, dolphins, jellyfish and other sea creatures.

Where: 845 Avison Way, Stanley Park in Vancouver

Hours: 9:30am – 5 pm

Price:$21 Adult, $16 youth (13-18) and $16 student.

When: Saturday, February 25 & Sunday, February 26

Where: Downtown

Hours:12 noon – 5 pm
