GREAT PUB NIGHT AT TOBY’S PUB & GRILL!
Last night we went to the Toby’s for Lydia’s last pub night; a bitter sweet occasion. Wedneday’s at Toby’s is lots of fun; 25c each for wings is definitely worth it… and the karaoke!
The night started upstairs by the pool table area; a couple of games were played, people ate some delicious wings, had a couple of beers and by 9pm we were all downstairs ready to sing our hearts out.
Everyone who dared to get on the stage to sing the golden oldies or Top 40 tracks were a great hit. We definitely have some hidden stars among us!
As a special thank you and goodbye to Lydia almost our whole group (there were about 30 of us in total) went up on the stage and sang the ABBA classic, ‘Thank You For The Music’. It’s usually the case that a large group of people singing who can’t actually sing sound pretty good… we’re not sure that this was the case, but it definitely was a nice send off for Lydia.
What do you think about our lovely singing faces? 😉
Thank you all for coming out! It was a huge success.
Make sure to keep up with our blog to find out where the next pub night is going to be next week!
