INTERNeX Canada: Pub Night Review

Yesterday we enjoyed a crowed pub night! We all met in Blarney Stone in the old district of Gastown.

We were more than 30 people! Half of the pub was ours! There was live music so it couldn´t be better!

West Trek was again with us and gave away a lot of discounts at the same time we enjoyed funnies games! Our candidates played the typical American drinking game called Flip Cup. Do you know how to play? I didn´t have any idea about it and I was surprised when I saw so many cups in the air and everybody really excited “hitting” the tables!

For our special West Trek Flip Cup we formed two teams with four players, each team on one side of the table, face to face with their rivals. There were maple sirup shots filled in front of each player. The game started when the first player drank his shot. Then each player had to flip the empty plastic cup (or at least to try to!) by flicking or lifting the bottom until it flips and lands face up on the table. But if it is sound difficult, imagine if you can´t use the two hands, or blow on the cup to “guide” the cup to flip over!  For me it was imposible! The cup had to be reset and re-flipped until the first player achieved it, just when that happened the next person could proceed. The first team which finished was the one who won.

Yesterday our fortunate candidates were Thaina, Nicolas, Jennifer and Julia who got a discount for the Rockies! Congratulations!!

We enjoyed together, talking, drinking, playing and even dancing with the band that were playing live music!

It was a great night guys! Thank you all for coming! See you next Wednesday!
