We are all going to party hard tonight at the INTERNeX Summer Party 2012! We can’t wait to see you, it is going to be a blast! This means we are all going to be tired and possibly be feeling a little sick in the morning tomorrow. So how do you cure this!? With a great cup of coffee!!
If you love coffee as much as I do then you have probably noticed that it’s pretty expensive in Vancouver. Many of you already know about Starbucks and Blenz. These coffee shops are all over the city. You can normally find one of them on just about every block in the city. We all know that these coffee shops make amazing coffee but sometimes you can save money by going to a local coffee shop. This also helps the local economy by putting the money back into our own city.
Here are some coffee shops around the city that you might want to try out!
Kitsilano – Coffee Break
This is a little gem in Kitsilano. The coffee is amazing, it is my favorite place in the city by far! It is also very close to the 99 bus stop. They try to get your coffee out to you as quickly as possible so you don’t miss the 99 which is right outside of the door. The two staff that work there in the morning are also typical Canadians. They are very friendly and they will make conversation so you don’t get bored while you wait for your coffee! Another huge benefit – going here saves me about 50 cents on coffee every morning!
North Burnaby – Cafe Classico
This coffee shop is perfect if you want to grab a quick cup of coffee. The staff know what they are doing when it comes to coffee. I have yet to be disappointed with one of their coffees. This is also perfect if you want to grab a quick bite to eat. They have great sandwiches among other lunch selections. The next time you are in North Burnaby you should definitely hit up this shop.
Gastown – Revolver
As most of you know, our office is located in Gastown so I frequent this shop. If you are in the mood for a great cup of coffee and some amazing food this is where it is at! I love going to this location to grab a coffee to go or just to sit in their cute little shop. It is a great environment over at Revolver. I definitely recomend visiting this location before you leave Van. Even if you don’t like coffee their food is amazing!
Commercial Drive/Granville – The Prophouse Cafe
This is one of the most interesting atmospheres I have seen in coffee houses. It is such a great place to go and sit while you listen to music or talk with friends. Their food and drinks are amazing! Whenever I am downtown shopping and spending all of my money downtown (shop, shop, shop, shop) I also make sure to head over to The Prophouse Cafe. It is worth a visit for sure! It always feels like I am reuniting with my family when I walk in here. Everyone will smile at you when you walk in (don’t worry you don’t have something stuck in your teeth, people are just being nice)! The staff will make you feel right at home and talk to you like you are old friends even if you have never met them before!
See you all tonight!
