Do you love animals and have a passion for helping those that are orphaned or injured? Have you ever want to explore the world of dog sledding or relive the old days as a Cowboy (or girl) in beautiful Guyana? Our volunteering program is the perfect opportunity to make a difference in local communities and wildlife.
Your volunteering experience may require hard work at times, but it will be very rewarding and a rare experience of contributing to animals that need help. This is not only an opportunity to help animals, but it is also an opportunity to improve your English, experience different cultures, and engage with the local lifestyle.
At INTERNeX, our connections with volunteer stations will ensure you the best opportunities and properly prepare you for this experience. To do so, we will match you to an available station that caters to your interests and passion. Here are the types of opportunities available:
- Volunteer experience with Wildlife rehabilitations centres
- Social and community volunteer experience within First nations communities
- Pets rescue and rehabilitations volunteer experiences located in one of our major cities.
The current available positions include bear care, husky ranch, Wild West – Guyana, bears and eagles, island crittercare, the last vaquero, bear, deer and moose haven, amazon and Amerindians, wildlife paradise, care for critters, and Amazon survival. Your stay will last from 2 to 24 weeks depending on the position.
