The weekend is coming soon! And of course our INTERNeX Whistler Trip as well!
Whistler is one of the most popular places of British Colombia and of course on the best places to sky on the winter! But that´s not all! It is also known for his nightlife and natural parks! There are several park around Whistler, some of the are:
Rainbow Park is located on the west side of Whistler Valley. You can go there riding less than half an hour along the Valley Trail from the Village.
Lakeside Park is on Lakeside Road and it has a nice area specially prepared for the kids but you can also find picnic tables, BBQs, and in summer you can rent a canoe there.
Another nice park is Wayside Park, it is near Whistler, just in the Creekside neighborhood, but you can also access by the Valley Trail. It offers a small beach with kayak rentals, BBQs, and picnic tables.
At last but not least there is the great Lost Lake Park. We will choose this hike for our trip! This park has around 32 km of cross-country trails with amazing views of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. It´s one of the most preferred destinations for ski and snowboard! But it has a popular sandy beach, BBQs, kids area and picnic tables as well!
Definitely it sounds like we have to hike it! Maybe we will find the lake…maybe we will get lost (something 99 % sure if I guide) but I am pretty sure we will have fun!
