What a great first half of the week, eh? Delicious turkey on Monday and a tasty burger on Wednesday (beer with both of course 😉 ) – It couldn’t get much more Canadian either! Last night, about 20 people grabbed the chance and got the burger & beer deal for $11 (Wednesday special) at PIVO Public House. In a stylish but very cozy ambience, we treated us to some fine food and cold beverages. The group last night consisted of both INTERNeX-ers and friends of INTERNeX, including some people who just wanted to hang out with us and meet new friends in Vancouver! Great they came out too and joined us for our PuB NiGHT – It’s always awesome to see how easily “strangers” get integrated into the group.

Some of the candidates (including myself) had a reason to celebrate a bit as we got jobs for the next couple of months. As far as I go, I’m leaving Vancouver in December and going to spend the winter in the Rocky Mountains working at one of the amazing ski resorts there. Don’t want to even think about a goodbye from Vancouver right now but luckily enough, there’s so much else to be looking forward to!! Especially the Rockies trip in November will be one of the ultimate highlights! More about it will be posted on the blog and facebook soon!! Stay tuned 🙂
