INTERNeX Canada: Halloween Night Review

I wonder how many people in Vancouver are regretting the last couple of drinks at the Halloween party just now, sitting at the office and wishing the day was over already. But hey, it was totally worth it, right? For my first Halloween in Canada I had big expectations, of course, and oh boy they were more than fulfilled last night!! Hundreds of people in their Halloween costumes went absolutely crazy and partied hard all night long. Last night’s venue, The Blarney Stone in Gastown, was packed at 7pm already – it was insane! As the INTERNeX crew is always up for a good party, we were about 30 people in the end and once the live band started to play, there was no holding us back. Pretty much everyone spent the rest of the night on the dancefloor. Well that’s what I did, so I might be wrong. 🙂 Anyway, many hours of dancing later I eventually took a cab home at like 2am – thanks to my roommate who had to drag me out of the bar. If it wasn’t for her, I would still be there I think.

Today may not be the best day ever but after all, I am very glad and thankful to be experiencing so many fun and downright awesome things in Vancouver. And this is not just about a beautiful city and a good party night but mostly about all the people around one that make a place unique and create lasting memories.

Check out the pics on Flickr and/or facebook!! (All the censored ones can be obtained from me upon special request. 😉

Happy Hangover 🙂
