Another week is almost over and the weekend is practically around the corner. Any idea yet what you want to do in your spare time? Well, since the weather has not been that good, and the typical Vancouver rain has been as present as if it was never away – we decided to go somewhere this weekend where we can soak up some warmth and some nice atmosphere.
This Sunday we will go to the Bloedel Floral Conservatory. Wonder what that is? The Bloedel Conservatory is ‘an exotic blend of colors, sight, and sounds’. An exotic garden with colorful birds and fish, tropical flowers and trees – for me that sounds like a little piece of paradise in this rainy season. The birds are not in cages but fly around freely and some even talk, so don’t be surprised by a tiny voice saying ‘hello’ to you. Three different climate zones, the tropical rainforest, the subtropical rainforest, and the desert zone, are all under one roof in the Bloedel Conservatory.
Personally, I look very much forward to this visit, enjoying some nice warmth for once. We will meet on Sunday at 3 pm at the bus stop SB Cambie St FS w 33 Av (Stop ID: 50422). People under 19 pay $4.50 everyone else pays $6.50 for admission.
See you on Sunday guys,
Annika
