What to do on the weekend?

Weekends don’t count unless you spend them doing something completely pointless, but since we are doing this during the week it is time to go out and explore Vancouver and their events/activities.

                                                                                                                    

Eastside Artisan’s Market

On March 29th the Woodward’s Building Atrium on 111 West hastings, opens their doors for the eastside flea. The flea offers handmade & locally produced goods. The doors are open from 10am til 5pm and it is for free. Over 60 local artisans and craftsman will display their goods and arts during the flea, also live demonstrations will be demonstrated. ArtRoots

Sugar Skull Studio, 68 Water street, opens their doors on March 29th for the first ArtRoots show of 2014. Talented artists of Vancouver will gather together in the heart of Gastown to provide you with an unique experience with local art, live flash tattoos and good music. If you like the tattoo-scene you should not miss this, but also if you want to explore a new you, this is the best place to start. Tuck Shop

To welcome the spring a night market is organized on Saturday March 29th at the Toast Collective, 648 Kingsway. The market is open till 10pm, but you can stay and enjoy a drink and slow jams until midnight. The market offers gluten free food, fermented products, healthy snacks, jewelry, shirts and much more. Blim Market

Spring has sprung so it is time to refresh your home and closet with new knick-knacks and unique products. The market fathers handmade accessories, jellewery, pottery, cards, gifts, baked goods, and many more in a vintage way from over 50 local vendors. All this can be found in the Hertige hall on Main st at E 15th Ave from 12pm til 6pm on Sunday March 30th.
