What to do on the weekend

Guys, guess what… It’s finally weekend again and time to explore beautiful Vancouver. We picked out a couple of events that might be of interest for you!

Vancouver Night Race Run

The Night Race Run is a 5K and 10K run or walk through the Stanley Park at Night. The runners are decked out with headlights and so you can see a moving and breathing light show. The run will start and finish at the Stanley Park Pavilion. If you don’t want to watch just the amazing light show the runners give you, but run by yourself, you can sign up for the run here. To take part in the 5K run and also in the 10K run costs $60.

Cactus Club Cafe

If it’s still raining at the weekend you should try out the Cactus Club Cafe. You can find one at almost every corner here in Vancouver. They offers a great variety of food ranging from salads, steaks and pasta to burgers and sandwiches. The food prices are reasonable and they serves one of the best cocktails in Vancouver. Alternatively you can get the best Cheesecake in Vancouver at the Trees Organic Coffee. It’s located at different places in downtown, you can find one shop for example in gastown.

 

 

Oktoberfest at Bomber

On Sunday, 28th of September, you have the opportunity to join Bomber Brewing for Oktoberfest. The ticket is $35 and includes 2 glasses of beer, a Bavarian treat off the BBQ and live music. The  Creaking Planks will be playing and you’ll get special prizes for dressing up.
Bomber Brewing is placed at 1488 Adanac St. Get out and show some Oktoberfest spirit.
