Last night’ s PuB NiGHT was at the Blackbird, which is a pub in Vancouver’s Financial district. It was a good place to catch up with everybody, so thanks for joining!
The Blackbird is a pub and oyster bar with a Scotch bar as well, where they serve over 80 Scottish selections. The Blackbird is part of the Donelly Group, a company that was founded by Jeff Donnelly. He started with the Bimini Public House in 1999 and now 18 years later, the company has many trendy and catchy public houses, cocktail bars and nightclubs. Besides that they even opened a beautiful barbershop, which you could have seen when you walked up the stairs to the Blackbird.
We had the longest table in the pub and from that point we had a good view on the televisions where a hockey game and an interesting movie were being played on. It only missed the sound and subtitles, so some of us made their own scripts on what was happening to Leonardo DiCaprio. Others played a few games of pool, which was fun as well!
Last night’s pub was perfect for a chat, so I was happy to see and catch up with all of you.
I hope to see you again this Sunday at Queen Elizabeth Park or at PuB NiGHT next Wednesday.
