Ohh Friday my Love nice to see you again! Another week is over and it’s time to focus on the weekend activities. But What can I do?
Music sounds better on a Friday. That’s why the Mid-Autumn Moon festival or the Friday Night Live music event in North Vancouver are great possibilities to start your weekend. If you want to stay in Downtown, then you should enjoy food, music and various cultural activities at Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden. Otherwise live music, storytelling and a guest artist in North Vancouver at 3201 Mountain Highway are waiting for you. Cost is $10 and free for children 12 & under.
Saturday and all trouble fade away.
So why don’t go out for a movie night at the River District? Saturday’s double-feature is Ant Man & The Wasp and Solo: A Star Wars Movie. The event is free, but you need to reserve tickets in advance. (Note: Both movies are now SOLD OUT. However, more tickets may become available and you can always just walk in with your lawn chairs.)
Not in mood for a movie night? It doesn’t matter! Just check out the Maple Ridge Food Truck Festival. Food trucks, live music and market vendors will offer you a unforgettable evening!
The sports fans among you will have a meeting at BC Place Stadium at 7 pm. The BC Lions play against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
So now we finished 2 of 3 days of weekend. We had food, sport, music and movies…What else is missing? Why don’t pay some attention on domestic art? On Sunday dozens of artists are on display at the Seine Net Loft at 5180 Westwater Drive at the Britannia Heritage Shipyards from noon until 4 pm to present their paintings.
The sports fans are not forgotten as well on Sunday.The Vancouver Whitecaps play against FC Dallas at BC Place Stadium.
