The Thanksgiving weekend is over. Four days of relaxing, eating and spending time with family and friends! Unfortunately the time runs so fast. Now it’s Tuesday and the only thing we can do, is having a review of the things we did:
My weekend started Friday in the evening. After finishing work, we had a Thanksgiving Potluck in the INTERNeX Office. Everyone prepared something for the evening and so we had a mix of different food out of different countries in there. It was pretty cool. We listened to music, played some karaoke, talked about a lot of different things and enjoyed the time together. Afterwards some of us decided to go to the Metropole Pub, where we also had some good hours. This is how the Friday came to an end!
The Saturday morning was a tensely morning. Due to the long night, I was very tired but I promised my roommate to go on a hike. So we took the bus to Grouse Mountain and started the hike. It was exhausting and not as easy as I hoped! The moment we arrived at the top was awesome. The beautiful view was the reward for the strenuous hike. We were lucky. Based on the good weather conditions on Saturday, we were able to see Downtown, the Stanley Park and a lot of more places in Vancouver. Really, you should go to the top of Grouse Mountain. It’s terrific!
The Sunday was about relaxing and getting some rest. In the evening I went out to meet some friends at the Pint. There was a “Oktoberfest evening”. It’s a german topic, so we decided to check it out. The evening in common, was pretty cool, but not really what we expected. However we had a lot of fun! 😀
Special for this weekend was the day-off on Monday. It was time for me to have a look at the Vancouver Aquarium. It was one point on my bucketlist. It was really likely and I can recommend it to everyone who is interested in Sealife.
This was my weekend! Hope you had a great weekend too and maybe we will see us tomorrow at the Mahony & Sons for our next Pub-Night 🙂
