What to do on the weekend?

Weekend is here and for most of us it means a lot of free time. You might have already wondered, “How should I spend all of this glorious time I have for the weekend?” Well you’ve come to the right place because this blog post will give you an answer for that.5535679756_798fe4019e_n

First of all, in case you did not know yet, it is St. Patrick’s Day this Sunday! That means the whole weekend is full of fun activities. Here are some of them:

FRIDAY – Go check the Irish Appreciation Night at The Blarney Stone 6-8pm. The night starts with FREE Irish appetizers at 6-7pm and complimentary Irish liquor & beer sampling from 6pm until supplies last. On top of that there will be live Irish inspired music!

SATURDAY – On Saturday there are plenty of different events through out the day. You can join the St. Patrick’s Day 5K run which goes around Stanley Park. Take a part of the race or just go take a look and cheer for the runners. If you are in the mood for partying this Saturday sure does offer a lot of options for that too. There is even a St. Patrick’s Day Boat Party happening.

SUNDAY – The Vancouver Welsh Men’s Choir, which happens to be largest all-male choir in Vancouver, are having a concert at the ACT Theatre in Maple Ridge. You might also want to go to the St. Patrick’s Day Festival at the Blarney Stone Pub. The day starts off at 10am with an Irish brunch. On top of that there will be stilt-walkers, face painting, Celtic dancing and plenty of other stuff. Go and see it by yourself! ☺

On Sunday some of us are also travelling to Seattle. I am so excited; it will be my first time visiting the states!
