On Saturday we decided to avoid the rain at FlyOver Canada. Although we were a bit sceptical at first, it was definitely worth it! Thanks to everyone who came with us!
After waiting in line for about 20 minutes we first entered the room where they were showing UpLift! which is an audio-visual pre-show where they show the different Canadian lifestyles. It was put together really well and a nice preview to the actual experience. After the pre-show we went into the “boarding zone” where we were entertained by how bad people are at listening.
Then it was finally time for the actual experience of “flying” over Canada. It was surprising to me how real it felt. They even have special effects like wind and mist and I would swear that I smelled those horses. I don’t want to spoil it for people who are still thinking about going there, but I was pretty amazed by the experience and would definitely recommend going.
After FlyOver Canada we weren’t quite ready to go home yet, so we decided to go to Mahony & Sons for drinks and we ended up staying for quite a bit. It was a nice opportunity to get to know you.
