INTERNeX Canada: Upcoming events!

I can’t believe how fast March is going by, because there is only one more week to go before April! This weekend is the Easter Long weekend…and most importantly, on Friday we will be on our way into the Rocky Mountains -finally! 🙂 But even if you aren’t joining us on this trip, don’t worry we still have so much more to do!

When did the time go? No need to be dreaming about the Rocky mountains anymore, because in just a few short days, we will be on that bus heading towards the beautiful mountains! Even if we leave quite early in the morning on Friday, you can just sleep on the bus! But I think I would be too excited to sleep. For information on what to bring/pack, last minute updates, etc. please come out to our pub night this week! Countdown: 3 days, 20 hours, 31 minutes, 20 seconds!!!

Richmond Go-Kart!

They told you that you can be anything…so last weekend you became a soldier, fighting in an epic battle and dodging paintballs. But don’t let it stop you there, how about becoming a race car driver? We will be going to Richmond Go-Kart for a fun day of racing! They offer one of Western Canada’s largest kart tracks at a half mile long. Are you the best driver? Find out soon! This event is weather depending but don’t worry, we’ll have a back up plan if it rains! Party must go on, right?

INTERNeX Canada: Tim Hortons VS Starbucks?

I was just casually looking through the Vancouver Sun today, as one does, and I read something really interesting. Apparently, there are more Starbucks in Vancouver than Tim Hortons! Could this be a battle between Starbucks and Timmy’s (short name for Tim Hortons)?! Dun Dun Dun!  The Vancouver Sun reported that there are more Starbucks in Metro Vancouver! More specifically in Richmond, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Delta and Port Moody! But places like Surrey, Langley and Abbotsford have more Tim Hortons!

I find this very interesting, because Tim Hortons is Canada’s number one place for Coffee and Donuts! It symbolizes Hockey as well as Canadian pride! Even the commercials for Tim Hortons really focuses on creating a brand name that represents Canadians. And let’s not forget the fact that Timmy’s is genuinely Canadian, being named after a Canadian hockey player! Starbucks on the other hand is American. Yet, according to the Vancouver Sun, there are more Starbucks than Tim Hortons, which then might suggest that the majority of Vancouverites prefer Starbucks?

…Okay I’m not going to lie, I actually prefer Starbucks drinks over Tim Hortons. There, I said it.

INTERNeX Canada: Upcoming events!!!

Just finished a great long weekend, where the luckiest just arrived for the most spectacular mountains of the county!  But don’t feel sad the month has a lot of other cool staff to do!

Are you ready for the upcoming events?

So this next  Sunday 18t. Be ready to experiment a super Canadian experience in the ice field!!!

A real game between The Giants and Saskatoon Blades!!! Hockey here we go! Keep an eye on our Facebook to know more details! The game will start at 4 at Pacific Coliseum, you can’t miss out!

When? 3:15 pm, 18th November

Where? In front of the main entrance at Pacific Coliseum, 100N Renfrew Street.

How much? Cheap, cheap, cheap. We are trying to get the best price for you guys, so we are working in it, just keep an eye to our event on Facebook, we will post everything there.

And after a Canadian experience, let’s the battle start!  Laser tag, ohh yeah! No rain, no pain, but also no rest…Who will win?

We will meet at noon at Waterfront to take the Skytrain together! The prices depend of the number of games we’ll want to play!

And our last November weekend…It will be a blast! INTERNeX Pub and Club Night, no more words needed.

INTERNeX Canada: Picture of the week

This weekend, the INTERNeX gang took to battle. Our picture of the week is of the fearless group who fought it out on the battlefield… you do not want to mess with them!

The race will begin at Canada Place, from there your team will be given a set of clues, riddles and tasks to complete before whilst racing around Vancouver.  Your team will need a digital camera to document that you have successfully completed the tasks and the first group to decode the ended point and meet the PR team with sufficient documentation of all tasks will be declared the winner and be rewarded the AWESOME prize!!!
