PuB NiGHT Review: The Beaver Tap house

Another Wednesday, another PuB NiGHT! Besides it was my second PuB NiGHT with the INTERNeX gang and my first PuB NiGHT I had to organize. After some researche I decided to reserve the Beaver Tap House. I wasn´t there before but their Internet review sounded good.

At the end of the night I probably can say, it was a good choice. I think everybody had a great evening.

After we managed that everybody had a good seat, we talked a lot about everything and everybody. I also met some new faces yesterday.

Furthermore it is to mention, that a special of the Beaver Bar is the famous music bingo every Wednesday. A song is played and you have to mark the singer and song title on your paper. Quite tough sometimes, but with team work we managed. In the first round Lukas and another girl, not from us, screamed BINGO simultaneously. But unfortunately she got the free Beer pitcher…

All in all the music bingo was really funny, and I am sure that someone of us will win the next time.

We left the Beaver Bar at about 11:30 pm, but some of us were not tired at this time yet. Because of that a part of the INTERNeX group went on to the Yale Saloon. At the Yale we were almost the only ones, which is why the DJ played the Tequila song especially for us. The dance floor was only occupied by INTERNEX people. It was pretty cool to dance together with 10 other guys in an empty Pub 😀

At the end of this blog post, I like to say that I had a great time last night and I hope you did too! Thanks for coming!

Now I´m really looking forward to the weekend.

Cause that’s when our great Whistler trip is coming up. I hope to see many of you there again.

See you on Saturday☺

PuB NiGHT Review: Beaver Bar

Three tables should be enough. Ok, let’s take a fourth one. Still not enough. At the end of the night, the INTERNeX gang needed seven tables in total to fit everyone who stepped by at our PuB NiGHT. A new record of this year, pretty cool!

28002828218_49da32e5ee_nThe night started off with some drinks. Our waitress just kept running with pitchers of beers and cocktails for all new people arriving. Soon everybody made themselves feel at home and waited more or less patiently (Germans like to follow the official time schedule 😉 ) for the start of the activity of the night: Bingo! Meanwhile, the well-known Bingo host recognized our group and we got our papers and daubers. One round of normal bingo and we already had a winner in our group! Congrats, Anna!

Special at the Beaver Bar is the famous music bingo. A song is played and you have to mark the singer and song title on your paper. Quite tough sometimes, but since team work is dream work, we managed. Also here we were lucky: Toni was the second winner of our group! Two rounds of music bingo later, it was time to head home. I really enjoyed this busy night and I hope you did too.

See you on Saturday early in the morning for our great trip to Squamish. In the meantime, go out and enjoy the sun!

PuB NiGHT Review: The Beaver

This was it! Another PuB NiGHT at The Beaver passed by ladies and gentlemen! The pub/ hostel welcomed us once again with free shots and gave us the wonderful spot up on the balcony. And as always on Wednesdays at The Beaver, it was time to play some Bingo. The first two rounds were simple Bingo and then we had two rounds of our all-time favourite music Bingo! There were even two lucky winners in our group: Sebastian and Toni! Congratulations guys, I hope you enjoyed your free drinks!

After some more tasty drinks and snacks it was suddenly 11:30pm. Time passed by so fast, which means we had good talks and many laughs to share. So, we all payed our bills and we headed out to… Yes, once again to the Met to do some karaoke. Or as in my case, listening and singing along to all those that had the microphone in the hand. My favourite moment was when Sebastian dedicated ‘My heart will go on’ to Bart. That was quite a show dude!

I hope you enjoyed it and had as much fun as I did.

PuB NiGHT Review: The Beaver Bar

BINGOOOOO! That is what we heard several times at The Beaver Bar yesterday night. What a great time we spent with you!

Yesterday’s pub was not that easy to find. The Beaver is not only a bar, but also a hostel full of international travellers. A huge table was already waiting for us on the gallery where we had a good view on the tables and the bar underneath us. We used the whole space on the gallery, because so many of you showed up! It was great to see old and new faces on our table. When all chairs were taken and everyone got their discounted drinks, it was time for a fun game: Bingo.

The first round was played as usual, crossing numbers off your paper as you hear them. After repeating numbers as 17 and 70 hundred times, we eventually got a winner in our round. Rebecka was the lucky one who shouted bingo as the first one! The night went on with a more challenging round: music bingo. A song was played and we had to cross the respective name on the paper. We took the chance during these rounds to prepare ourselves for the upcoming karaoke. Classic songs were loudly performed while sitting at the tables. Fun! And again, an INTERNeX winner: Pascal could pick up his price at the bar. Our voices were already warmed-up, so there was just one option where to go next: The Met, of course. Solos and duets were performed and even the entire INTERNeX crew gathered behind the microphones. It was only time to go home, when the lights switched on again. I had a great night and I hope you enjoyed it, too!

See you tomorrow in Kelowna or next Wednesday at The Lamplighter!
