Today, we would like to introduce you the Hospitality Program. Do you want to travel but you don’t have enough money?

The Hospitality Program allows you to travel abroad, improve your English and earn money at the same time. But there are not the only benefits that you can obtain:

We work with many resorts located in the Rocky Mountains

– Be more than a tourist: You will live inside the Canadian community, sharing the same way of life and learn the real Canadian culture.  You will work approximately 30 hours in the week. And the rest of the time you can explore and discover Canada!

INTERNeX Canada: Culture Shock

If you are a beer-lover, I’m sure that you already have thought about this.  The beer is one of the most representative things in a country. It’s part of the culture, everybody is so proud about his own beer (even if they don’t like it). If you are in a group with people of different countries, try to start a conversation about which country make the best beer. The friendship will disappear very fast.

I had a lot of very deeply conversations about this topic. Everybody is agree with me about one fact: Canadian beer is stronger than in other countries. Somebody told me that the Spanish beer tastes too soft. I said “no way, are you crazy?!” But after three months in Vancouver, I tried a Spanish beer the other day and oh my god! It’s taste like water for me (I hope anybody from Spain will read this, or I will have to ask for political asylum in Canada).

The smell is so different to. During my first weeks I was wondering all the time why the pubs had this strange smell, like some kind of clean product. Then I realized that it was the beer.  Now I like that smell, and it’s one of the most representative things in Canada for me.

Other thing that surprised me was the different things that they put in the beers. It’s very common to find beers mixed with honey or fruits (mango, strawberry…) the other day I discovered one fantastic brand: Seedspitter, made with watermelon! At the beginning you can think “oh… this is not form me” but it’s pretty good! And the label is amazing.

Other thing that really surprised me… the designs of the bottles and labels… they are so cool and modern. In my opinion, you can see that Canada is a young country in this kind of things.

INTERNeX Canada: PuB&CLuB NiGHT Announcement

Hi guys! By popular request, this week we are going to meet on Friday instead of on Wednesday! Better for all of us because the next day is weekend so we don’t have to get up early the next day! A pub&club night it the perfect way to say “hi” to the blessed weekend. Our experience at The Relish the last week was fantastic so we want to repeat!

This time we are going to meet at The Pint. It was one of the favorites places for the other PR team. We really want to go there because we’ve heard a lot of good things about this place. Is one of the most popular places in Vancouver! Join us! Is going to be an amazing night.

PuB NiGHT Cinqo de Mayo – Review!

Yesterday we had a real Mexican fiesta at the Blarney Stone – Cinqo de Mayo! The first part of the Mexican party was a bit more Canadian since we were watching the ice hockey game together! Of course the Canucks won, GO CANUCKS GO!!! After the game they cleared the dance floor, so people could dance on the typical Mexican music played by the Mexican Mariachi Band ‘’Los Dorados’’. One of our Mexican candidates requested a song and they only wanted to play it on one condition – that we had to dance!! So, many of our candidates got their ‘’Mexico on’’ on the dance floor! Arrrriiibaa!!

We were sitting on a really long table in the back of the Blarney Stone, because we were with so many people, which is absolutely awesome!! Everyone got a ticket from the PR-team to get a free tequila shot at the bar! We were having a really good time; enjoying the live music and having a nice chat with each other.  Once again, it was a successful PuB NiGHT! News Flash

I hope everyone had an awesome St. Patrick’s Day! The last couple of days we have been celebrating St. Patricks Day, but do you actually know what we are celebrating? I have to be honest, I didn’t know! So that is why I looked it up for you, so you will be ready for next year!

Saint Patrick was the patron saint of Ireland and one of the most celebrated religious figures around the world. When he was 16 we was kidnapped from his native land, England, by a group of pirates. They brought him to Ireland where he was sold into slavery. From his master he had to work as a shepherd and feed all the animals. He turned to his religion for comfort from the Lord and he prayed every day. After six years of slavery he escaped from his master. He returned to his home country England, where he decided to become a priest.

One night he had a dream about the Irish people calling him to convert them to Christianity. So, after finishing his study and preparing for several years Saint Patrick returned to Ireland as a Christian missionary. He was able to bring upon a massive religious shift to Christianity by converting people of power. He laid the groundwork for the establishment of hundreds of monasteries and churches that eventually popped up across the Irish country to promote Christianity.

On March 17 in the 5th century Saint Patrick died, which is now the day we celebrate St. Paddy’s day on! So, now you know why we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. You’re ready for next year!!
