INTERNeX Canada: Casual Friday

Vancouver is famous for being one of the most livable cities in the world. Everybody who has been there adores this city and cannot stop listing special or awesome things. One of these things itself is the restaurant Cloud 9.

To take advantage of Vancouver’s natural beauty you have to make your way to the Empire Landmark Hotel, the former Sheraton Landmark. It is in the West End of Downtown Vancouver and with its 42 stories it is the tallest free standing building in Vancouver. So besides that, what makes this place so special? It is also one of Vancouver’s attractions because of its top floor restaurant. The Cloud 9 is a revolving restaurant, which means that its rooms are designed in a way that offers people a panoramic view over the city without having to leave their seats.

Even though the prices are not the lowest in town, you can just go for drinks or dessert; enjoying a piano-bar atmosphere and the best view of Van City. Some people are so excited about the whole thing, they even say just go there instead of the Vancouver Lookout. Go later in the evening and they’ll often let you nurse your drink for as long as you like.

The annual Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival is a popular tradition in Vancouver, bringing people of all ages and backgrounds together to celebrate the quintessential symbol of spring.

Vancouver Fashion Week (April 12 – April 17, 2011)

Are you a Fashion lover? Then visit this international event! One of Canada’s premier destinations for fashion industry insiders, designers, buyers, and editors. Vancouver Fashion week is exceptional, exquisite, and unforgettable.

TORONTO

Diddy Dirty Money (Sunday the 17th of April)

Diddy Dirty Money is doing his coming home tour and this Sunday he will perform in Toronto (Ontario,Canada). Not only he will be there but also Tyga and Lloyd will do a performance. It will start 8pm at the Kool Haus (132 Queens Quay East). The cost for  tickets will start around $50.

Thank you to all those that came out to INTERNeX Pub Night yesterday! 

We had a fun and fabulous Halloween party—with cream puffs, fruit tarts, and mini muffins with orange frosting, sprinkled with black ghosts.  

To wash all the food down, we also had some free beer for the first few people that came.

It was quite a festive night celebrating Halloween.  As always, it was good drinks and food.  

But one of the most anticipated highlights of the night is the Vancouver Fashion Week Ticket giveaway!

We all hear about the extravagant fashion weeks in New York and Paris, and we all dream of attending one of those! 

But dream no more, we have one in our very own backyard.  Only it doesn’t take place in a backyard, but in Vancouver’s prestigious Empire Landmark Hotel located in central downtown on Robson Street.
