INTERNeX Canada: Upcoming events!

I can’t believe how fast March is going by, because there is only one more week to go before April! This weekend is the Easter Long weekend…and most importantly, on Friday we will be on our way into the Rocky Mountains -finally! 🙂 But even if you aren’t joining us on this trip, don’t worry we still have so much more to do!

The Rockies Trip -finally here!

When did the time go? No need to be dreaming about the Rocky mountains anymore, because in just a few short days, we will be on that bus heading towards the beautiful mountains! Even if we leave quite early in the morning on Friday, you can just sleep on the bus! But I think I would be too excited to sleep. For information on what to bring/pack, last minute updates, etc. please come out to our pub night this week! Countdown: 3 days, 20 hours, 31 minutes, 20 seconds!!!

Richmond Go-Kart!

They told you that you can be anything…so last weekend you became a soldier, fighting in an epic battle and dodging paintballs. But don’t let it stop you there, how about becoming a race car driver? We will be going to Richmond Go-Kart for a fun day of racing! They offer one of Western Canada’s largest kart tracks at a half mile long. Are you the best driver? Find out soon! This event is weather depending but don’t worry, we’ll have a back up plan if it rains! Party must go on, right?

INTERNeX is proud to support The BC Lung Assocation’s Rush event! Are you ready to rush?!

On June 5th, 2010 let’s join together and hit the Vancouver streets for the most audacious fundraising event that this city has ever seen…This is in no way any kind of an ordinary event-it is a CHALLENGE unlike anything in the Lung Association history! Teams of two will scour the city of Vancouver as part of an EPIC, 1 day Race & urban SCAVENGER HUNT completing a predetermined number of checkpoint challenges and deciphering clues at UNKNOWN locations throughout the city. Teams will run, walk and use public transit, racing to complete their Checkpoint Challenges within the 6 hour time limit. Partners can use a nearly limitless array of resources (friends, family, internet …) to help them get to and complete their next Checkpoint Challenge. The first team to complete the required number of Checkpoint Challenges and cross the finish line wins a trip for two around the WORLD but…

THE RUSH is about more than just crossing the finishing line, it is about the JOURNEY and the chance to SAVE LIVES and CHANGE your own in the end! Sound like something you’d be interested in? Then register soon because there is a limited amount of teams that can sign up. Be a part of something bigger than just yourself and held end lung disease today!
