Review: PuB NiGHT at The Distillery

Last night’s pub night started off at The Distillery and ended in Soho Billiards. So many people joined us last night and thank you all for coming; we had a really good time!

img_1202The Distillery is a bar + kitchen in Yaletown. Its Italian-American styled and part of the Yaletown Brewing Company, which is right next to The Distillery. As the name tells you, they brew their own beer. Through the windows in the back of The Distillery you can see all the barrels in the back, which is pretty cool. The Distillery and Soho Billiards are quite the contrast; The Distillery is pretty fancy and Soho Billiards is way more casual.

We had a very large area in the back with sofas and chairs, which were really comfy. We barely fit in the area since more and more people showed up. However, we managed to fit everybody in and we were all catching up on all the adventures we had and having a good time. Then Brody decided to show off some of his Chiropractor skills and made all of our necks and shoulders feel so much better.

IMG_1213.JPGAround eleven a lot of us wanted to go and play pool, so we decided to move the party to Soho Billiard, where they have loads of pool tables and two groups ended up playing at two different tables. This was my very first time playing pool, so naturally I was terrible in playing pool. It was a lot of fun though and many of you ended up staying there for a long time.

Once again you guys made my night, so thank you for that! I hope to see you again tonight at the concert or next Wednesday at PuB NiGHT!

PuB NiGHT REVIEW: The Keefer Bar

We spent a really lovely evening at The Keefer Bar, although we were just four people.

The Keefer Bar is a pretty cool place with a cozy atmosphere.IMG_2628 From the outside you wouldn’t really recognize that there is such a fancy place but as soon as you walk through the door everything changes. Compared to the “standard” pubs/restaurants/ bars here in Vancouver the bar is very special and the concept is completely different. They managed to create something extraordinary.

As we went there only a few guests sat at the bar but shortly every seat was occupied even so it wasn’t crowded. You could talk in a normal voice although they had a DJ playing cool music.

The staff was awesome, funny and friendly. In addition the cocktails I tried were pretty odd but very tasty. Hadn’t expect that it would taste that good.

We all can highly recommend this bar.

INTERNeX Canada: Smart Saver Vancouver

Hello everybody!

The most of the women we use shopping like part of a therapy to feel better! In some cases or just to enjoy it! But here in Vancouver is crazy expensive to say let´s go shopping without spending a lot of money!!

Sears is already known because you can find some bargain! But imagine that if they usually have discounts in their own articles imagine if they have sales because they will close the shop! There are lots of articles with an extra 50 % of discount so something that can cost originally 40 dollars, and in sales it usually cost 20 dollars, you can get it for just 10 dollars!

There are less and less clothes left but you can find something really interesting, with good quality and with really good price! But be aware the most of the clothes are not so fancy as you can imagine, but if you look and look and look more you will find a perfect bargain!

Sears is located in Pacific Centre Mall in Grandville Street! It´s huge and there are a lot of yellow poster where you can read they have to sell everything because they want to close it!

So girls, boys it’s the perfect occasion to give you a caprice without spending so much!

Cheers,

Irene

INTERNeX Pub Night Review

Yesterday we all met in the fancy Cactus Club Café in Yaletown!

There were a lot of people and new faces! Which is always great because here in Vancouver everybody leaves but new people are always coming too! And a lot of people brought their own friends! The more people, the more fun!

The venue was really cool, with a chic decoration and they had really good cocktails! They have a good specials too so it wasn´t as much expensive as you can imagine when you entered there!

I ordered Sangria and was the first place in Vancouver that Sangria tasted like real Sangria! Yep! No more peach juice with white wine! The real Spanish Sangria exist in Vancouver!

It was the last pub night of our great PR INTERNeX intern Xenia! She has been here for a couple of months but we all miss her sooooo much! I really don´t know what I will do without her in the office and in general in Vancouver! I will miss you so much! Katie and Petra left too! Oh my gosh, The PR “team” will miss you all, because you are our team!!You are the team!!!

It is always grateful being with you guys! And seeing more and more people every week is great!

Thank you so much!

See you next week!Or maybe earlier! Why not?

Enjoy this fastantic sunny day!

Cheers!
