Smart Saver

Smart saver Sundaaay again. Time to safe some money guys.

That’s easier said than done. It’s getting cold outside, so the free stuff like walking through the beautiful nature is not that attractive anymore. And of course hockey season started, so no tickets for the cheap hockey pre-season available anymore. Tickets for the Canucks starts from 70$, that’s pretty much.
Buuut no worries. We have a really great alternative for you!!
…….Vancouver GIANTS…..!!!!
Tickets for the Vancouver Giants cost between 19.50$ and 24$. So how does that sound???

As you can imagine Vancouver Giants are not such good players as the Canucks, but you get an entertainment, which is at least as impressive as a Canucks game. The Giants are playing more aggressive than the Canucks ( could be so much fun to see them “fighting”) and there is more pressure in the stadium.
Get more Giants-information here and buy your ticket for a great game here. Enjoy the game!

Wish you a great Sunday and an enjoyable Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow.

Halloween is soon, so don’t forget to vote for your preferred Halloween Party here.
Aaand join us for our upcoming Portland trip.

What to do on the Weekend?

It’s weekend again. This time Vancouver offers you at the weekend great events such as the Pillow Fight, a Postcard show, Sakura Day Japans Fair and Nifty for Fifty Sale.

Vancouver Pillow Fight Flash Mob

It’s time for a big pillow fight! This pillow fight happens regardless of rain or shine and is something everyone should experience at least once. The pillow fight will happen around the art gallery at 3pm. So get your pillow and attack!

Postcard show

The Postcard show takes place at the Remington Gallery, which is in Gastown. The show will be a mix of original artwork from new and established artists. All the artwork will be in the format of a postcard. The reason of the postcard show is to make original artwork accessible to a wider audience by offering an alternative such as the Postcards.

Sakura Day Japans Fair

It’s a fun two-day Japanese event where their celebrate the cultural arts and age old traditions of Japan. The event is located in the VanDusen Botanical Garden. You can make experience of the special ritual of the Japanese tea ceremony, enjoy Japanese festival food and also there is a guided Tree Talks and Walk to the cherry trees. The entrance is for adults at the VanDusen Botanical Garden $12.

Nifty for Fifty

On Sunday the 6th of April 30 local designers and artists will gather under one roof to the 7th annual Nifty for Fifty shopping sale. It’s located at the Heritage Mall (3102 Main Street) and the Mall is open from 11am-8pm. You can find there everything from accessories to clothing and much more, all for $50 or less. It’s time to buy new Spring wardrobe, so don’t miss this event.
