What’s cheap this week? Basically everybody enjoys going to the movies, right? But most often, you rather stay at home and watch TV, because going to the movies is quite expensive. However, if you are really into films and don’t only enjoy the most current ones, then this is a tip for you.

You always wanted to see your favorite classics on the big screen? And that hasn’t been possible because it didn’t exist in the right format yet? Well, then should check this out: Cineplex movie theaters have this project called Classic Film Series, where they select classic movies and show them for $6 a ticket. And the best thing: The tax is already included! Don’t worry, if they say classic, they don’t mean black and white movies only. The shown movies are from all decades and genres, so you don’t have to be afraid that they only dig out something really old.

The participating theaters in Vancouver are the Scotiabank Theatre downtown, the SilverCity Riverport, the Metropolis in Burnaby, the SilverCity Coquitlam and VIP Cinemas, and the Colossus Langley Cinemas. And the movies for November and December so far are ‘Out of Africa’ (November 6, 10, 21) and ‘Holiday Inn’ (December 8, 18, 23).

So buy some tickets, dig in the popcorn and enjoy the classics!

INTERNeX Canada: Smart Saver Vancouver- Lab Art Show

Are you into art? Do you have an artist inside your body? Do you miss to do something cultural?

Vancouver is quite expensive and our budget are just student´s budget,that´s why is difficult to give us a cultural caprice!

But now you have the opportunity to culturize yourself for less than you can imagine! Have you heard about Lab Art show?

In the same place you will find short films, music, audiovisuals, painting, sculpture, acting, contemporary dance, animation, fashion show… all this different styles in one special exibition!But the audience is not just a passive audience…not at all… the audience can network and show their talent! And even there will be a body painting fashion show going on!

INTERNeX Canada: Casual Friday

Hello everybody!

You already know INTERNeX is a really international company!

Actually our Public Relations Team is formed by 5 different nationalities! But the best of this multicultural group is that we can celebrate each national festivity together! Last Wednesday  was especially for our American intern Katie!

After a great Canada Day, 4th July arrived with such a big celebration in United States! This day commemorates the Declaration of Independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain signed on July 4 of 1776.

All the PR team attended a parade near Seattle and then the awesome fireworks in the city! You can´t imagine how crowded it was! Sometimes I looked around and it just seemed like we were in a film, with all the people on their blankets, the comets in the sky, American flags all around, carnival games…

Which will be the next festivity to celebrate?

In fact there are a couple of possibilities.

This month, the 21st of July, we can celebrate the Belgium National Day, with our Belgium intern Lies. Or maybe we will wait for Xenia until the 3rd of October to celebrate the Day of German Unity or until the 12th of October for the Spain National Day.

We also can wait a bit longer for The Liberation Day in The Netherlands on 5th of May for our Dutch intern, Petra.

No matter what nationality you are, you can celebrate them all! The more possibilities, the more fun!

INTERNeX Canada: About INTERNeX

As some of you may have guessed, life as a PR intern at INTERNeX is all work and no play…. NOT! In fact, we have fun every single day at the office so this week I wanted to share with you some behind the scenes info about the filming of our latest INTERNeX Explorer.
If you have already seen the video, you may have noticed the PR Crew’s acting debut.  We would like to thank our IT intern Janus for helping us out with the filming (and of course making sure captured all of us on our “good” sides). And massive props go out to Petra who directed and created the entire video.  We love INTERNeX, and are so lucky that we get to combine work and play 🙂
