This Wednesday we’ll go to one of the cheapest places in Downtown: The Cambie! If the last week we chose a cool style place, this week is the turn of the student style: cheap prices! And the prices of the drinks include taxes! Sometimes is too difficult to find a cheap and cozy place as the same time, but The Cambie is one of them. Is part of the Cambie Hostel opened in 1887 in Gastown.

This week we are receiving a lot of new INTERNeX people; the weather is more wonderful than ever, so let’s go to say Hi July! as it deserves. How? So easy! Join us in the Facebook event!

The specials offers for this Wednesday are:

$4 PINT and $12 JUG of Granville Island Winter Ale

$7.25 Fish & Chips: Two pieces of beer battered cod, served with a creamy tartar, sauce & cole slaw.

But the have a lot of good deals during the week; take a look to the menu here.

WHEN: Wednesday, July 3rd  @ 7:30 PM

Tomorrow we will be gathering at The Cinema Public House, in Grandville Street. We don’t have anything special to celebrate this time but, who needs an excuse to hang out in Downtown? The Cinema is one of the best places in Granville, maybe is familiar for you because we went to a same company place, The Lamplighter, a few weeks ago.

Join us! It can be an amazing opportunity to meet new people and take a break in the middle of the week. We’ll wait for you. And you’ll be able to ask us everything about the Rafting Trip.

Watch a Movie under the Stars!

Imagine sitting in Stanley Park on a warm summer night after a long day at work with a mild breeze drifting through the trees and people gathering beneath the starts to watch a great movie in a outdoor setting! Outdoor movies are a fun, unique way to enjoy a movie under the stars! It is like a drive-in movie, only without a car! You can bring your own folding chair or blanket to sit on.

Every Wednesday Night FreshAir Cinema shows a different movie in Vancouver’s beautiful Stanley Park. This week they are showing The Goonies. The Goonies is a 1985 American adventure-comedy film directed by Richard Donner. It’s about a band of kids from the “Goon Docks” neighborhood of Astoria, Oregon – hoping to save their homes from demolition – who go on an adventure to find the buried treasure of One-Eyed Willy, a legendary 17th-century pirate. For more information about the movie, click here

Join other INTERNeX candidates this Wednesday for a great movie under the stars! The outdoor theater is set up at Ceperley Field in Stanley Park. This is a big open field by Second beach! The movie starts at 9 pm, if you bring your own chair please be polite and sit in the back so people sitting on a blanket can see the movie as well.

Let us know if you are coming to the movie, so we can meet up . Simply email us at pr@internexcanada.com and meet us at 9 pm at the movies!!
