PuB & CluB NiGHT Review

Last Friday it was time for another PuB & CluB NiGHT and sadly also time to say Goodbye to Danie. We all met us at 7:00 pm at The Cambie ordered some food and of course some drinks, especially some Pitchers of beer for the beginning.

The weather on Friday was really nice, everyone was in a good mood so everything was ready for a great party.  We had a lot of fun together, talked about what we did during the week and what we are going to do on the upcoming weekend including Canada Day on Tuesday, some of us were really lucky because they had a long weekend until Wednesday. So we laughed a lot, had nice conversations, some good drinks and even another great PuB & CluB NiGHT.

So unfortunately it was Danie’s last PuB NiGHT and even the last day as practicum student for INTERNeX. We all said her ‘Goodbye’, which was really sad, and wished her the best for the future and a nice travel along the West Coast. For sure some of us will still keep on touch with Danie.

Hope to see you guys at one of the upcoming events. On Sunday we going to play Paintball in North Vancouver, don’t miss it!

Annika says Good Bye

So this is good bye now…

After a quarter of a year in Vancouver, I have to take my leave. Even though I am happy to return home for Christmas and enjoy loads of Gluehwein 🙂 I will miss Vancouver, will miss Canada.

It was not enough time by far, to explore everything this town and this country have to offer so I will definitely be back! The trips to Victoria and Whistler were a lot of fun and every weekend activity, every PuB NiGHT showed me so much about myself. The life is a never ending story and you always learn something new. So I am taking home with me bitter sweet memories, new friends and some very valuable lessons.

My time here was so much fun, also because of my INTERNeX colleagues! Simon and Tim, you made my stay worth while and gave me the possibility to explore the diverse angles of this business. I can actually go home now and know what I want to pursue (so my answer to the question: And what do you want to do later on? will not be a hesitating smile and “something with tourism”). Thanks for giving me this self-confidence, thanks for letting me be part of the INTERNeX family!

So everybody I’ve met during my stay, thank you for the adventure, it has been fun. Enjoy the holiday season, have a merry Christmas and party into 2014!

Annika

As you know, we went to The Lamplighter to see the hockey match the last Wednesday. The Canucks lost , but we had a  good time drinking Canadian beer and playing bingo! We’ve chosen this picture because some of ours guys come back home, and we are a little sad! 😦

But this part of our job. So, we are sure that everything is going to be OK for you!

Kisses!

INTERNeX Canada: How was your weekend?

This weekend was like the most of the weekend in Vancouver a non-stop weekend!

Saturday was Lies’ farewell! Lately the most of the girls of the PR team are coming back to their houses! Lies will be the last one in leaving us and she wanted to say good bye organizing a farewell party in her place!

Farewells are always fun but sad, you enjoy because it can be the last time you see that person and you don´t have time to waste but it´s so sad to say” goodbye” and not a “see you tomorrow”!

Sunday a bunch of INTERNeX people went to Lynn Canyon! The place was like the most of the parks of this city, amazing!  We crossed a suspension bridge; we walked around some trail until we arrived to a natural swimming pool where some people jumped from different and highs rocks!  It was so crazy to see that! The place was plenty of rocks! A bad fall would become a real tragedy!  But in the time we were there, everybody was having fun, jumping or just looking how the people jumped in that incredible place!

After the park we came back to the civilization and have lunch/dinner (in Spain eating something before nine is not dinner!) to recover some energy!

Thanks for the people that came yesterday! Visiting amazing places are always better with good company!

Cheers,

Irene
