What to do on the weekend?

It’s Friday, meaning it’s the weekend. If you don’t have any plans yet, here are some ideas. I hope you’re hungry, because this weekend is a foodie’s dream.

North Vancouver’s Shipyards Night Market begins today, with some of Vancouver’s best food vendors. Just to give you an idea of the size, the free market has over 100 vendors, and you will also be able find 19 beer garden, as well as other entertainment. The market is open from 5pm to 10pm. In case you already have plans for tonight, don’t worry the market is open every Friday until 27 September. More infos at: https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/north-vancouver-shipyards-night-market-dates-2019

And now for all the Germans and German fans: The “Prost Haus”, a Bavarian themed beer hall, just opened on the rooftop of 900 Granville street. There, you will be able to find authentic German food like Pretzels, Bratwurst and, of course, Beer. So if you’re feeling a bit homesick, go check it out.

In case you’re in the mood for a bit more Mediterranean food, specifically Greek, I got you covered. This weekend is the 41st Vancouver Greek food festival. Not only will you find lots of food there, but also music, entertainment and history. So if you want to experience Greek culture, this is your chance. The festival is at 4500 Arbutus St from Friday to Sunday.

After all that food you might want to consider some exercise. A group of us is going to the trampoline park in New Westminster on Sunday evening at 5:30. You are still welcome to join. Just sent me message on facebook, so I know who is coming. https://www.facebook.com/events/2258540541073418/

Smart Saver Vancouver

It’s time for another great Smart Saver here in Vancouver and we found to cheap and popular restaurants where you should go.

If you love Greek food the Greek restaurant Stephos is a cheap and popular place to eat all the yummy greek food which there offer. Stephos is located 1124 Davie Street and the dishes are between $10 – 15, also the portions are huge! For example for a roast lamb with potatoes, greek salad and pita bread you pay $9.95. Also they are really quick with the order and the delivery of the food. Have a look and try all the yummy food there.

If you are more into pasta or want to try both restaurants we found the Basil Pasta Bar for you guys. You can create your own pasta for only $7.95. Just choose which pasta you want and than you have the hard decision which “toppings” you want for your pasta. It’s covers everything from meat to fish. The Basil Pasta Bar is located on 636 Davie Street.
