It’s time for our weekly PuB NiGHT at the Malone’s. The Malone’s offers one of the finest craft beers from home and abroad on 32 taps, also you have the opportunity there to play a round of pool. If you planning to have you dinner or hangover food there, they have really good burger and fries and much more. Malone’s prides itself on having the best best games in town. Hockey, rugby, soccer – you name it and they will play it. The Malone’s is located on 608 West Pender (on the corner West Pender and Seymour Street).

PuB NiGHT Announcement & last chance Whistler

We all know what Wednesday means: PuB NiGHT. Tomorrow we will host the PuB NiGHT at the Lamplighter Pub on Water and Abott Street. At the lamplighter you can join in for a round of Bingo.

INTERNeX Canada: PuB NiGHT Announcement!

You all thought I was gone, didn’t you? Nah. I’m up for one last pub night…who’s with me?? Tomorrow we will be meeting at the Cambie for our usual pub night! 

This place is known for cheapest beers and food in town! Got off work just before and you’re starving? Don’t worry, this place has got everything you’ll need to sit back and relax after a long day! This place brings around all different kinds of people, travelers as well as locals who are all looking for beer and tasty food -a great hangout place!

INTERNeX Canada: PuB NiGHT Review!

Last night, we had our weekly pub night at Ceilis Irish pub! Everything was awesome, except for one thing…people were being turned away at the door because they needed their passports if they didn’t have a BC ID.  I was not very happy about it, as you can already imagine.

So I’d like to apologize to every one who came out last night and were turned away because they didn’t have their passports with them. I was not aware of this until yesterday.  Places such as Ceili’s and Cambie require everyone who is international, to show their passports as their first piece of ID.

To make matters worse…my phone died earlier that day. So if you tried to reach me, you know why I wasn’t replying back. Although it was a disastrous night, there were some good parts too. Like for example, the cheapest and the most delicious wings ever!! Ann-Christin and I shared, and we each only had to pay a toonie! How awesome is that? And $4 beer and $4 tequila shots? Life cannot get better than that, my friends. 

For next time, I will make sure if there is a policy like this and let you all know way in advance. And don’t be discouraged about last night…next week there is going to be a SPECIAL pub and club night 😉 which you shouldn’t miss out!

Free Beer and Cocktail Show!

Staying in, or near Toronto? You might want to check out the annual Beer & Cocktail Show in Downsview Park this weekend.

At the Beer & Cocktail show you can sample all kinds of beers from brands such as: Beau’s, Big Rock, Boris, Grolsch, and many more. You can also taste several cocktails with fancy names such as Pomegranate Cosmo, Coco Chanel, Can-Can en Cherry Garden. With a variety of snacks available, the alcohol shouldn’t go to your head too soon, so you can enjoy a lot of samples! To make the show complete there will also be live music and entertainment every day.

Every day the first 100 visitor’s will get free admission! So be sure to get there early. Also, every day a $500 Beer Store gift certificate is given away. All you need to do is fill out a form and be present when they draw the winner.

The show times are:

–          Friday June 4th 2010:        6.00 pm – 1.00 pm

–          Saturday June 5th 2010:   6.00 pm – 1.00 am

–          Sunday June 6th 2010:      4.00 pm – 10.00 pm

There will be a free shuttle bus running every 15 minutes between the show and the Downsview subway station from 10.20 pm to 1.20 pm.  You have to be 19+ to be allowed in and don’t forget to bring your photo ID as it is required at the door.
