Felix Günther – New intern at INTERNeX

Heya,

my name is Felix Günther and I´m a new intern at INTERNeX. I am working at the PR Department and am planning events for example the weekly Pub nights on Wednesdays and trips to destinations around Vancouver.

I am coming from Germany and just ended up with school. I want to study “International Hospitality Management” and that’s why I picked INTERNeX as my internship company. It offers me the opportunity to get a peek into the international tourism sector.

I already have traveled around a lot but unfortunately just in my school vacations, so there was no time to get the countries and its people known that well.  I was dying to get to Canada right away so I took the first plane after my Prom night to Calgary. From there I started a trip through Canada with my family in a Motorhome which was an amazing experience and I can recommend it (backpacking is also a possibility and much cheaper ;)).

In my opinion Canada counts to one of most beautiful countries and has definitely the friendliest inhabitants I have ever met.

I am working at INTERNeX for now 2 days, but these two days and my two week trip through Canada before tell me already that it was the best decision I made. Now I´m much more exited what will happen in the following 6 months.

Ready To Rush?!

INTERNeX is proud to support The BC Lung Assocation’s Rush event! Are you ready to rush?!

On June 5th, 2010 let’s join together and hit the Vancouver streets for the most audacious fundraising event that this city has ever seen…This is in no way any kind of an ordinary event-it is a CHALLENGE unlike anything in the Lung Association history! Teams of two will scour the city of Vancouver as part of an EPIC, 1 day Race & urban SCAVENGER HUNT completing a predetermined number of checkpoint challenges and deciphering clues at UNKNOWN locations throughout the city. Teams will run, walk and use public transit, racing to complete their Checkpoint Challenges within the 6 hour time limit. Partners can use a nearly limitless array of resources (friends, family, internet …) to help them get to and complete their next Checkpoint Challenge. The first team to complete the required number of Checkpoint Challenges and cross the finish line wins a trip for two around the WORLD but…

THE RUSH is about more than just crossing the finishing line, it is about the JOURNEY and the chance to SAVE LIVES and CHANGE your own in the end! Sound like something you’d be interested in?
