Picnic at the Beach review

On Saturday we had a nice small picnic at the beach. It was a lovely sunny day in Vancouver and the city turned it to a beautiful place with crowded beaches and sports everywhere.

We met at the boathouse in Kitsilano and from there we looked for a nice spot on the beach. Once we found we we unpacked all our blankets and started our tanning session. ATTENTION: do not forget to get yourself some sunscreen! The sun is very strong in Canada. We had crackers, chips, strawberries, bananas and many more for picnic. Even some went for a short swim between our tanning sessions.

After the picnic it was time to do some sport, there was a volleyball tournament going on, but once it was finished we could play some volleyball or Frisbee. The warm weather stayed till late in the afternoon and so we left to beach to get some dinner and came back to the park to eat. We finished our day at the beach at around 8pm.

We hope you all enjoyed the nice weekend and we hope to see you at the pub-beach-night this wednesday. Tomorrow we will give you more information about the place and time!

Enjoy the warm weather!

Pub Night Review

Yesterday we had another great pub night at the Bismarck. The Bismarck is a cozy pub in Tinseltown, in the same mall as our office.

We met at 7pm in the pub and ordered our first round of drinks. It was nice to see how everyone started chatting with each other even when there are new people. We discussed our weekend plans and it seems like a lot of you guys are coming out to the kits beach on Saturday! It is going to be a beautiful sunny day, so it is more than worth it to come to the beach. We will also bring our volleyball and if you have any other beach sport/activities you are more than welcome to bring them along. We might want to make a stop at 4th avenue during our beach day to get some ice-cream, who doesn’t love ice cream?

We hope you all will enjoy the rest of the week and see you on Saturday!

Picnic at the Beach

This weekend is going to be hot. The weather is forecasted up to 25 degrees, so get your summer clothes out and join us for a beautiful day on the beach!

Since the sun will come out we decide to have a picnic on the beach. The idea is kinda the same as our International Dinner, everyone brings some food along and we can have a big picnic party. Of course this time it does not has to be anything typical from your country.

We will meet at 2pm on the Kitsilano beach at the boathouse, from there we will find a nice spot on the beach for our picnic. If you are coming later, you can just give us a call or stroll along the beach and you will find us!
We can also make a stop at one of the five ice-cream shops, one even serves frozen yoghurt, in Kits or for some smoothies.

We hope to see you at the beach
