PuB NiGHT Review – The Scavenger Hunt

What did you think of our Scavenger Hunt? Last night we had an extremely fun evening!

By the way, if you have any pictures or videos please send them to us per email (, Facebook or WhatsApp (1 (604) 368 0816).
We were planning on creating a new picture wall for the INTERNeX office with all of your incredible photos.
Thanks a bunch!

Here’s a little summary of what we did:
In our Scavenger Hunt we first met up at The Lennox Pub and divided everyone in groups of 3. Then, each team had to go out into in the city and complete different challenges to earn points for every accomplished task.

The game had 2 components: In Part 1 the teams were given cut-outs of pictures of famous spots in Vancouver like the rainbow-colored crosswalk on Davie St. In order to find at least 3 of the cut-outs they had to make use of hints we provided. Every single group did an awesome job to overcome this half of the game!

For Part 2 we had the teams take photos of themselves doing hilarious things while on the hunt to complete part 1. The challenges involved team members taking a video of themselves singing the song ‘A thousand Miles’ by Vanessa Carlton in front of a London Drugs. Or take pictures of team member silly hats. Another funny video was about a member of the team walking up to a random stranger to ask for directions, telling him/her that they’re lost and need to get back to the Rocky Mountains!
We had an extraordinarily good time and laughed our hats off when we reviewed the pictures and videos of our teams.

After 1,5 hours of time given for the Scavenger Hunt, we counted all the points made per team and found a winner! They had performed exceedingly well, checking off almost all the challenges given. Their prize: a Canadian flag and extremely funny memories they will not be able to forget quickly! I’m sure the rest of the teams feel the same way as well.

Thanks to everyone participating!

Pub Night Announcement

Tomorrow, Wednesday, at 7:00pm our pub night will be at the Irish pub Lennox Pub. The pub is situated at 800 Graville Street only 2 mins. walk from Vancouver City Centre Station.

They’re serving a great variety of food ranging from soups and salads to burgers, sandwiches and pasta. And of course they also have typical Irish food. For instance you can get delicious Irish stew. You can also get delicious desserts: for instance a carrot cake or ice cream sandwich. If you want something to drink, the Lennox Pub offers 18 different beers, so there’s plenty to choose from. They’re also serving Budweiser as the daily special for 5.75$. Those of you who didn’t have the chance to go to the Rockies will have chance to hear more about what we did at this fantastic trip.

So come and join us for a fun and cosy evening at the Lennox Pub.

INTERNeX Canada: How was your weekend?

Two days straight of sunshine and beautiful weather? That’s what I’m talking about! Yesterday was St. Patrick’s Day and we celebrated by going out to watch the parade in downtown Vancouver and drinking green beer!

The parade was alright, in my opinion. It could have been longer because it seemed like it lasted for only half an hour or so. But still, it was really fun! We saw giant dogs, bag pipers, violinists, dragons, and so much more! After the parade was over, we met up with some of the others and found a place to eat lunch. We ate at Cafe Crepes! Although it didn’t go with the whole St. Patrick’s day theme, everyone had a great meal. I got the Nutella nut Hazelnut crepes and it was so delicious! I highly recommend it when you go!

After a huge meal, we all decided to go around downtown, look at some events going on along Granville Street. There were huge crowds everywhere we went, so it was quite difficult to watch some dance shows. But after, we  went shopping on Robson Street! We all went to Forever21 and the girls had fun of course…I’m sure the guys had fun there too 😛

After walking around and window-shopping, we all went to the Lennox Pub for some green beer! I really didn’t like it…I thought it would taste different, like sweet or something. It was just beer…with green food coloring. If I was making green beer, I’d make it all fancy -add some mint extract, whipped cream, and green sprinkles 🙂

It was lot’s of fun, I love St. Paddy’s Day…gives you an excuse to drink on a Sunday afternoon!
