INTERNeX Canada: How to arrive to the new office

As you know, we start this week in a new office. It’s located in the Tinseltown- International Village Mall, a shopping center full of shops and delicious things to eat. Mercedes and I were worried about that fact, so we made a promise each other: try to cook (healthy food) at home and avoid lunch every day here because we can get fat very easily here. But the temptation is too strong 😦

Anyway we are so happy! The new place is fantastic. You will be able to see it in the next HiGHLiGHTS of the week… this week is our 10^th episode so we are preparing a very special video with very funny content… but you will have to wait until this Friday to watch it!

Maybe it can be a bit confused gets to the new office because you can be lost in the mall. For that reason, we’ve made three videos with the three different ways to come to visit us.

Today, I want to show you how to arrive if you arrive with the SkyTrain Station – Stadium & Chinatown. The closest entrance is in Keefer with Abbott Street. You will see a little square and one Starbucks.

INTERNeX Canada: HiGHLiGHTS of the week!

Welcome to the HiGHLiGHTS episode 9!

This week we’ve made a review of the Khatsahlano festival in Kitsiliano. We spent a wonderful evening; the festival really was a success…a lot of concerts, shops, along the 4^th avenue, during 10 blocks! We were so tired that Mercedes and Clara had to stop to take a break in the middle of the street. Lena took a picture for the picture of the week. Thanks a lot! 

And like every Wednesday, we choose the best pubs in Vancouver to hang out together and take a break in the middle of the week. This time we went to Malone’s in Pender, in Pender with Seymour Street, in Downtown. The place is pretty cool and the prices are ok.

And this week we made a special INTERNeX Explorer. We went to our partner’s from West Trek to ask them questions about the big Rocky Mountain trip in August. West Trek are the Rockies experts of Canada! We asked them with how many students they go each year, what the most special thing is in the Rocky Mountains and what the party bus is…

About the upcoming events, this weekend, we have a very cool plan for you. We will go to Deep Cove! It’s a beautiful area in the district of North Vancouver. It’s a very beautiful place to visit, we can go to the town, the bay, and after go to the mountains to hiking inside the rainforest. It isn’t pretty hard and you can enjoy an amazing view on the top and we can have a lunch there.

INTERNeX Canada: HiGHLiGHTS of the week Ep. 6/2013

Another Highlights episode is ready…Welcome to Highlights of the Week, Episode 6!

On Saturday we went to Lynn Canyon. Is an amazing place, very beautiful, so we took some incredible pictures that you can see in our Flickr account.

Last Wednesday we had our weekly pub night in the Cactus Club, in Yaletown. If you don’t know it, is one of the coolest neighborhoods in Vancouver, between False Creek, Robson and Homer Street.If you didn’t come, we really hope to see you in the next pub nights. Is a fantastic opportunity to meet new friends.

And,  as each week, we had our special video: INTERNeX Explorer. This time, Jelle went to the 9 o’clock gun, in Stanley Park.

Finally tomorrow we are going to go to Chilliwack, as you can see in our picture of the week, Mercedes and Clara are impatient for test the sleeping bags.You will be able to see the pictures and the review of the trip the next week!

If you cannot come, don’t worry because we have a lot of things ready for the next month: The Rockies Trip in the August long weekend!

INTERNeX Canada: Picture of the week

Hello! How is your Saturday going? If you went yesterday with us to Relish… I’m sure that you are in the bed right now.

And the picture of the week is… Mercedes! Normally is very difficult get a picture from Mercedes… So we have to exploit this opportunity! This photo was taken in Richmond Go-Kart, when Mercedes found her own Kart… cute, it isn’t? Mercedes said that she pretended to return to Spain in the car… so funny! We love u Mercedes!
