How was your weekend?

Wow what an amazing weekend was that! We had so much fun in Victoria, so if you want to read al about my adventures there then keep on reading!

It all started on Friday after work when I went to Horseshoe Bay first to pick up David and to go with him to English Bay where we met up some other people from INTERNeX and enjoyed the beach and some drinks of course.2017-09-23 18.01.25.jpg

On Saturday we woke up pretty early to take the bus to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal, where we took the bus to go to Swartz Bay. Once we were on the boat I enjoyed a nice coffee and luckily could get a little bit more sleep before arriving in Swartz Bay.

IMG_0480Once we arrived we took the bus to the hostel where we dropped off our stuff and went out for some lunch. After our amazing lunch at The Warehouse we took some coffee at Starbucks and went to The Canoe Club for our great dinner. The food was really delicious and after we had our belly’s full of amazing food we went back to the hostel to prepare ourselves for an amazing night out.

IMG_0476Me, David, Kyrola, Saskia, Nathalie, Lena and Maxine went to a Nightclub called Paparazzi where there was a happy hour which meant that all drinks were only $5,-. After the happy hour me, David, Kyrola and Saskia stayed in the club and went home after a while.

The next day we had breakfast at John’s Place where we had an amazing “hangover” breakfast, which I think everyone really needed. After our breakfast we explored Victoria a bit and I bought an amazing Victoria Sweater and some Dutch liquorice. After having some great food and drinks it was time for us to go back to Vancouver.

Thank you all for an amazing weekend and we are looking forward to see you at the PuB NiGHT on Wednesday.

-Mandy

INTERNeX is going to Whistler!

Sad that you missed out on our last trip to Kelowna or excited to go on another trip with the INTERNeX family? Then this trip to Whistler on the 25th of March is perfect for you!

20106059240_04203fb028_oWhistler is a must see in Canada! It is a beautiful city close to Vancouver. It is mainly known as a skiing and snowboarding resort. In 2010, Whistler even hosted some events of the Winter Olympics. We will not be able to go skiing or snowboarding, but there are a lot of other activities to do!

Our one day trip includes a sightseeing tour on the beautiful Sea to Sky Highway, a stop in Shannon Falls and a walking tour in Whistler Village. So make sure to take your camera with you on this trip. After the sightseeing tour we have some free time. You can choose to ride the peak 2 peak gondola on top of the mountains, which will give you a beautiful view over the city and the mountains. Or do you still have snowmobiling on your bucketlist? Then the Whistler day-trip is the perfect time for you to cross it off. You can also let your inner child free by doing some snow tubing in the tube park. Other activities are snowshoeing, dog sledding or sleigh riding and if you want to do something more extreme, try out bungee jumping or ziplining!

I18591095366_e91541873b_of you want to join the trip, sign up and pay in cash at the INTERNeX office or during PuB NiGHT before the 10th of March. The trip costs $50 including transportation and the sightseeing tour. All activities mentioned above are optional and are additional expenses. To stay updated, check out the Facebook event.

There are only limited spots available for the trip, so make sure to sign up now!

INTERNeX Canada: INTERNeX goes Victoria – Review Vol. 1

Hi everyone!

IMAG0497_1Last weekend we went from Vancouver to Victoria to have our monthly trip (September). It was a trip with many special moments and experiences. Everything was fine, but then something unexpected happened….And the trip turned into a little (but funny) mess.

And here are the most important headlines:

……Someone missed the start of the trip! But WHO? And WHY?!……

……Two nights in a 40-men-dormitory!……

……The beautiful British Columbia Museum……

……Craigdarroch Castle……

……It’s raining men, Hallelujah!……

……Cast Away 2: ”All ferries are cancelled. You can’t leave Victoria today” – OH NO?!……

If you want to read more about this crazy trip to Victoria, please read the upcoming extended Version of “INTERNeX goes Victoria – Review Vol. 2”

See you,
Tobias
