About INTERNeX: Au pair program!

Would you like to take care of children and explore a new country at the same time? INTERNeX has the perfect program that provides you with this amazing opportunity. Become an Au Pair for a family in Germany, New Zealand or Italy!

As most of you already know, INTERNeX has an Au Pair Program with Germany as our only destination, however there is some exciting news!  The Au Pair Program has now expanded its horizons, and we are pleased to now offer New Zealand as an Au Pair Destination!!

There is no better opportunity to live, work and relax on a beach simultaneously than in New Zealand as an Au Pair.  Our Au Pair Program will provide you with free room and board at a welcoming Kiwi home in exchange for nanny and childminding services.   You will also get a bi-weekly stipend and the benefit of having your own private, furnished room and an invaluable learning and cultural experience.

INTERNeX Canada: Tamara’s Pictures

Tamara participated in the ‘Picture your life’ INTERNeX Contest. And below you can read her great story and see all her great pictures! Enjoy reading this article!

My New Work

Since middle of July I work as an au pair / a nanny. I have to watch three children, two grils (6 & 8 years old) and one boy (4 years old).  I enjoy spending time with the kids and enjoy seeing them grow up. This picture is actually taken on our trip to Kelowna in summer.

My New Home
This is me, standing in front of my new home. We live in a nice, huge house with the whole family including the grandparents, so we are eight people living together. I enjoy experiencing the real Canadian life even though it sometimes really gets kind of chaotic with so many people in one house.

My Favorite Place
Choosing my favorite place in Vancouver was not easy because I just love this city and there are so many beautiful places and many things to do. I picked a photo which shows the view from Grouse Mountain. Why? Because I enjoyed climbing up there and being rewarded by having such a nice view over Vancouver and the ocean. Grouse Mountain is a nice place to be, in summer you can climb and walk around and in winter (my favorite time of the year) you get to ski with being able to see Vancouver, even at night!

My Favorite Leisure Activity

To talk about my favorite leisure activity I picked a picture where you can see me tubing at Harrison Lake. As there are so many things you can do in and around Vancouver such as skiing, climbing, swimming, shopping or just experiencing the nightlife I was sure that my favorite leisure activity has something to do with sport.

My Favorite Trip

I picked this picture of friends and me standing in front of Lake Louise because we had such a great time there together even though it was snowing a lot and we were not able to really see Lake Louise. This picture also shows how easy it is to get to know new people and make new friends during your stay in Canada. I enjoyed the ski trip to the Rocky Mountains very much because it is a beautiful place to be and I love all the snow and especially.

I would like to thank Tamara for sharing this great story with us. Unfortunately she did not win one of the Canucks tikcets, but she won anothe great prize, so congratuatlions Tamara, I hope you like your prize.
