Since the darker and cooler time of the year has started, we might as well do appropriate things, right? As a result, INTERNeX is going to get on ice this weekend. The Robson Square Ice Rink will be open this weekend and it is one of the best things to do around town.
It’s a fun idea the Vancouverites had there. Because the weather never gets quite cool enough for outdoor ponds to freeze, they build this ice rink at Robson Square. It’s for free and if you need to rent some skates, it’s only $4. Especially after dark the rink is a nice thing to do, since they light it up with some colored lights and sometimes even a band is playing for entertainment.
What the Rockefeller Center is for New York, and the Natural History Museum is for London: Robson Square is for Vancouver! The square itself is the heart of downtown Vancouver and bristles with life.
So that is where we are going to be this Saturday night. Let’s meet at Robson and Howe St at 6 pm and then show off our skills on ice together 🙂
See you there,
Annika
