New ‘Kids’ on the Blog

Welcome Simon!

After no new faces in the last week I am happy to introduce you to Simon today. He came all the way from Sweden to take part in the INTERNeX Hospitality program.  So far what I can tell, this young man is ready and excited for all the upcoming adventures ;-). 9caa171b-0899-44dd-8c14-fab3b04c59df.jpg

As for many of us, this is his first time living on his own. So I am sure he’ll be happy to get your tips and tricks on this one. Simon will be placed in Vancouver for his 6 months stay, but of course he doesn’t want to miss out in getting to see some other great destinations too. And again, I think he’d be happy to hear about all of your  experiences and even get inspired by them!
Simon we hope you’ll have a great start here in Vancouver and I promise you, everyone will be very excited to meet you tonight – that’s for sure. There will be many challenges you’ll get the opportunity to grow on, but finding friends doesn’t need to be one of them! We are very happy to take you in our INTERNeX crew! And I think we are quite a nice and fun bunch of people to spend time with. ;-).

Therefore make sure to welcome Simon at tonights Pub-Night at the Moose’s Down Under.
As the weather gets colder and winter is just around the corner, we’ll escape to the warm Australian vibe tonight.
See you tonight ,Mates’!

Cheers,

–Nadja

New ‘Kids’ on the Blog

Big warm welcome to our newest arrival, the charming Nathalie!
Nathalie is 22 years old and from the Netherlands. Since she is the only one arriving this week, she is gonna get all the attention ;-). IMG_5116.jpeg

Nathalie is taking part in the practicum program, working for the Cancer Society in the upcoming 5 months. So she’ll actually stay here for quite a long time. With her 22 years, she already got a very impressive resume. Back home she just finished her masters. Yes, you heard right!

Since the job is the perfect fit to make use of the knowledge she gathered during her studies, she isn’t only here to have fun. Nathalie wants to promote a healthy lifestyle to actually help to make life better.
Feels like we need some more Nathalie’s in this world!

Obviously this is not only about an “useful travel experience”, but also about getting to know the culture, meet new amazing people and just having a good time in Vancouver.
So what could be better, than joining the INTERNeX family?!
This is Nathalie’s first trip outside of Europe, all by herself, so it’s our job now to make her feel home asap.
So don’t miss out to welcome her at tonights PuB-Night at the Cambie Bar & Grill!

See you there,

Cheers,
–Nadja
