INTERNeX Canada: PuB&CLuB Night Review

Hello guys! How was your long weekend? Well, I wish. In INTERNeX, we gave the welcome to the holidays as it deserves… with a Club Night!We went to The Relish and we had a great night dancing and talking. We could get some good deals… beer only for 3$!

We met here at 8:00. At the beginning of the night, the mood was very calm, only was a few people… but later, the pub started to be crowded. All of us left our seats and we started to dance. We were the kings of the dance floor, I guess. We were vey surprised because the style of dance is completely different compared with the European style. But this is other story and maybe we have to write a large post about it. I only can advance that… the people here love the Rap music so so much!

It was our first club night for us and we were a little scared about if the people would come or not… but finally a lot of people came, and we spent a wonderful night! THANKS SO MUCH GUYS! New rafting trip to Whistler 24th-26th of July

You can’t spend all your time in Vancouver! You have to see some of the wildlife to!

Whistler is located just a few hours north of Vancouver and is Canada’s largest tourist resort. Whistler will host the 2010 Winter Olympics but of course Whistler has a lot to offer during the summer e.g. rafting, hiking or bald eagle viewing and a great nightlife.

The Greyhound leaves from Pacific Central Station Friday the 24th of July 1PM and arrives in Whistler Village 2, 45 hours later. Make sure to be on time, since the Greyhound doesn’t wait.

We’ll stay at INTERNeX staff house just 15-20 minutes from the village. In the evening we’ll have a nice barbeque together.

On Saturday we’ll go rafting with Wedge Rafting so get ready to get wet and have fun. The Green River tour is 2.5 hour long with over I hour on the water. Time off water is for scenic drive, instruction with professional guides and suiting up. This tour has spectacular scenery and fun rapids. It’s suitable for first timers.

In the evening it’s time to hit the night club. We are on the list for a night club in the Village.

The Greyhound will depart on Sunday at 4.35PM so there is time for those who wants’ to explore Whistler on their own.

Fun weekend in Whistler

We were eight people for the rafting trip last weekend and we had a great time!
We had a nice barbecue the first evening, a few beers but no bears…

The rafting was amazing. It was great for beginners but still a lot of fun rapids.

In the evening we went out for dinner and ended up in a nightclub until late.

But we still had some energy for a small hike on Sunday to see the nice surroundings of Whistler.

About The Met

The new Met Pub has kept the best and replaced the rest, with a brand new bar and kitchen to ensure clean quality products. Original tile mosaic floor, stain glass, point arched windows and exposed brick show the character of this nearly hundred year old building. For the sports fans there’s not a bad seat in the house, 12 TV’s a pool & foos ball tables, video & pin ball games.
Our weekly theme nights include Karaoke Wednesdays, Live Music Sundays and of course Thursday, Friday & Saturday dance parties. With competitive drink prices and great friendly staff the Met will soon be “the” hang-out of Gastown.

Whistler Staffhouse

The INTERNeX Staff house is located in Emerald near the Green Lake. It is about 30 minutes from the village with the local bus. The village offers great night life and good shopping.

Deerhorn House has 2 lounge rooms, a massive deck, sauna, in suite laundry and a massive kitchen, fully equipped.
There is 6 rooms with 18 beds. Bedding and wireless internet are included.
