How was your weekend?

How my weekend was? Well, the past two days, I saw a lot of the colors green and grey, but a bit of yellow and pink as well. Seeing colours sounds weird? Uuhm yea, I totally get that. But maybe, when you give me some of your time and let me explain it to you, then it will make more sense. So, here it goes.

As we all know, green is the color of nature, but also of jealousy and of course, the IRISH! This Saturday, it was St. Patrick’s Day and I celebrated this event for the first time in my life. And how did I do that? First of all, I dressed up with a lot of green accessories. Secondly, I met up with many lovely and fun people that wanted to party with me. Thirdly, we all went to the Koerner’s pub where a St. Patricks party was located at. And lastly, we danced and sang. All. Night. Long.

The colour grey followed me somehow throughout the whole weekend. And if you have ever lived in Vancouver or you are living here at the moment, then you might have an idea of what I am talking about. Yes, it is obviously the weather I am referring to. A grey cloud here, a grey cloud there. Covering now and then the blue sky. OK, always and constantly covering the whole sky. BUT, there was a short moment on Sunday where the sun (so that bright, yellow thing in the sky) came out and brought me some happiness. This was also the time when I went for some more yellow as well as the colour pink in my weekend. Have you ever heard of the pink alley in downtown? It is located between Seymour and Granville and as the name is hinting already, the alley is pink. But also yellow. So I went there, took some pictures to add to my Vancouver collection and went home for an easy Sunday evening.

I hope you all had a great weekend too, even though it was a bit grey!
