During the hunt you can learn interesting and quirky facts about the 500,000 animals of the aquarium. Some of  you might have visited the Indian Vaisakhi celebration last weekend in Vancouver. If you liked it or missed it, you have the opportunity to go to another Vaisakhi celebration. This one will take place in Surrey on Saturday. The event will celebrate the New Year of the Sikh faith. With an expected 300,000 visitors, it will be one of the biggest Vaisakhi celebrations outside of India. There will be a parade, performances and Indian food. And the best part is, the event is free, as well as most of the food. The celebration will take place from approximately 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the parade starting at 12885 85th Avenue, at Surrey’s Gurdwara Dashmesh Darbar Temple.

In case you find yourself craving Pizza on Saturday, good news, Pizza Pizza offers cheese and pepperoni pizza for only $4.20 at all of their locations for the entire day.

Enjoy your Easter weekend!

PuB NiGHT Review: Malone’s

2017-11-22 20.56.54

There we are, in the back of Malone’s, sitting at a long table with everybody. And even more people kept coming. Great to see so many people are showing up at the pub nights. After all the hungry people ate their burgers and pizza, we enjoyed the nice cocktails or one of the many special beers. Of course we ended up in the Metropole for some karaoke.

Malone’s is a big pub, but somehow always has a cozy feeling. With 38 different taps there is a beer for everyone. For the people who don’t like craft beers, Malone’s offers also a lot of cocktails. Everyday they have a special on the beer/cocktail of the day.

Hope you all had as fun as much I did and hope to see you all Saturday morning for our trip to Seattle!

What to do on the weekend?

Sadly, the rainy season has been slowly creeping up on us these last few days and the weekend doesn’t look too bright either.
That won’t stop us from having some fun though!

On Sunday we’ll be meeting for a special kind of dinner at Pizzeria Ludica. What’s so special about a pizzeria you may ask? Well, you can play games while eating. To be exact we’ll be playing board games chosen from a collection of over 600!
So yea, we’re going to have a crazy game night while happily stuffing our faces with delicious pizza. What more do you need?

Reservations are made for 6:00pm. If you’re joining please don’t be late. You can find the Restaurant at 189 Keefer Place.

See you there!

Review: Pub Night @ Melone’s

First of all a big THANK YOU for all of you guys, who showed up yesterday. It was great to see so many of you. Yesterday we had a pretty cool Pub Night at Melone’s, close to Waterfront Station.

We were lucky with our large table, which was made out of a glass plate with all the Canadian and American Pennies in there. This looked pretty awesome.

The food was really not bad, so that some people couldn’t wait for their own dish and started to eat the pizza of other guys. No, I’m just kidding, but there was a little confusion so that one guy started to eat the wrong pizza. That was really funny, even though it doesn’t sound like that right now.

However we had a great evening at Melone’s and the Pub is really recommendable.Nice service, good food and of course many screens to watch the hockey game. By the way Vancouver Canucks won yesterday….YEAAAAH!!!

Hope you enjoyed the evening as well.

Don’t forget to sign up for our upcoming overnight trip to Portland in November.
You can join the trip here. And remember that our office will be closed on Monday next week(October 13).

Have a great rest of the week and an enjoyable long weekend.

Review:Pub Night @ UpperDeck

Yesterday we had another great Pub Night at the UpperDeck.
It was pretty awesome because 15 people were able to join us and we were lucky with the big table, so everyone had enough space to sit.
The food was okay but especially the Cider was pretty good.
Some of us ordered Bruschetta and got something, which looked like a Pizza with tomatoes. As we recognized later on the bill it was Pizza – Pizza Prosciutto. Bruschetta and Prosciutto seem to be similar in the pronunciation for the waitress.

However we had a lot of fun and Henrik was able to learn some German words because of the many German guys. On the other way around the German guys learnt some Japanese words.

I hope to see so many faces at the next Pub Night again.

Don’t forget to join our visit to the Queen Elizabeth Park on Saturday. It’s going to be awesome.

For everyone who doesn’t join us, have a nice rest of the week and a great weekend.

Pub Night Review

Yesterday we went to the Mill near Waterfront at Coal Habour Centre. The Mill is famous for their big outdoor patio, were we luckily also had a seat.

We met at 7pm at the Mill and we were seated on the outdoor patio with a beautiful view over North Vancouver. There was a little plaza in front of us with small water fountains. Not only serves the mill many different drinks, such as the nice sangrias, but also the food is phenomenal. I tried the NY cheesecake with strawberry topping, also pizza, salmon burger and fudge cake were ordered. If you didn’t had time to come to the pub night last night, don’t worry, the mill is open 7 days a week!

The Victoria Trip is coming up, so don’t forget to sign up before Friday 18th July 3pm!

We will leave Vancouver at 7am and will take the sky train and bus to the ferry terminal from were we will go to Vancouver Island! Victoria is the capital of BC and very famous for they lovely flowers all over town.
