Hello everybody! I hope you all had a great weekend and recouped enough energy for a fresh new week. Today I will be informing you about upcoming events you definitely do not want to miss out on!! We will be offering exiting trip to the Sun Peaks, Women Soccer Games and Seattle.

• WOMEN SOCCER GAME

When: Sunday 29 January

Times: 17:00 / 20:30

Price: $ 20*

The best women soccer players of the world? Watch the final game of qualification for the OLYMPIC GAMES in London. On sunday the 2 best national teams from North America will play against each other. The finals will take place at the C LIONS STADIUM, one of the newest and best stadiums in Canada.

We can not make reservations, that is why you have to decide fast!!!!

Come to the PuB Night on wednesday or give the money to Nicolas or Petra at the Staffhouse.

Do not miss this amazing change to see the stadium from the inside and in action by the best North American Woman Soccer players!!!

• SUN PEAKS SKI RESORT

When: Friday 17 February 2012 at 13:00 / Sundag 19 February 2012 at 21:30

Price: $280 for INTERNeX Candiates and $290 for non INTERNeX Candidates

The third weekend of February you must come with us to the SUN PEAKS SKI RESORT! During this trip you will have 2 FULL DAYS of SKIING or SNOWBOARDING and in the evening you can relax you muscles in a HOT TUB or have a pint of beer in a PUB or NIGHT CLUB.

Sun Peaks Resort facilitates the most amazing winter playground full of endless entertainment options for everyone!

However if YOU DON’T LIKE TO SKI you can also do several other winter activities like SNOW SHOEING, SNOW MOBILING, DOG MUSHING, ICE SKATING and many more.

Crazy PuBNiGHT Last Night!

First of all, let me thank everyone for coming out last night! It was the biggest PuBNiGHT we have ever had! With over 30 people there we pretty much ruled the Blarney Stone! Second, i would like to thank West Trek for coming out and giving away a price! The game they organized was very good and  one of our Candidates was the winner of a free trip to Whistler!

The night was great and before we knew it, there were 30 people all mingling and talking with each other.  At 10 pm the band started playing and some brave people found their way to the dance floor!

West Trek organized a beer pong game, where you had to throw a ping pong ball in a plastic cup. If the ball fell in the cup than you had to drink it. The idea was to get rid of your opponent cups as soon as possible. The last person standing won the Free trip to Whistler. So congrats Emilia, our lovely Swedish candidate for winning the trip! She managed to outplay all the other contestants.

Let’s Go Paintballing!

Ready to gear up? Join other INTERNeX candidates for an adrenaline-rushing game of Paintball on Thursday July 8, 2010. Shoot or get shot as we run, crawl and hide over a span of three-acre terrain!  You don’t want to miss this event – and girls – you need to come out too!

We will be playing from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. at NorthShore Paintball, which is located just minutes from downtown Vancouver. Let’s get a big group of us, because although July 8 is already Half Price Thursdays, if we get a group of 12 or more, then we pay $28.00 for entry, rentals and 200 paintballs! This is an awesome deal!

Laura and I will be heading over to a thrift store to pick out some outrageous outfits (maybe even some comfortable dresses) to wear while we pulverize the boys! Make sure to wear comfortable, old clothing because this is going to be a highly active couple of hours! Grab some friends, some coworkers, even your boss and open fire at INTERNeX Paintball! We guarantee you’ll relieve some stress and leave with tons of fun memories (and maybe a few bruises).

If we don’t get a group of 12 or more, here are the prices. Please note that NorthShore Paintball only accepts cash payments, so please come prepared.

Laugh your head off!

Yesterday we posted a story on the website about The Laugh Shop in Calgary. But people in Vancouver can also enjoy a fun evening full of laughter! Check out the new Improve Centre on Granville Island.

The improve Centre is open every Wednesday to Saturday and holds shows that are entirely improvised by stand-up comedians. The stand up comedians compete each other, which make for a fun filled show!

Even the price of a ticket is something to laugh about. With prices starting from only $5.00 you can have a cheap fun filled evening.

Think you can do it yourself?

Think you are funny and would like to give stand up comedy a shot? Not to worry: every Saturday from 1.30 – 3.30 pm the Vancouver TheatreSports League holds workshops at the False Creek Community Centre on Granville Island. For only $11.00 (plus tax) you can show off you talents.  Be sure to tell us if you are thinking about signing up, we would love to come see you!
