How was your weekend?

The weekend is over already? I swear it was Monday like 5 seconds ago. Ok new week, let’s do this. But before I am ready for you, let’s look back to the weekend first.

26909292_1591413390947326_105795224_oFriday around weekend o’clock many people showed up at my place for some games. We played zombies, what do you meme, chug and bus driver. Before we realised it was already 11 pm, which means less games and more club. So we moved to Roxy and danced the night away.

Good morning afternoon, time to get up and go to the PNE. There we watched a lot of light sculptures during the Chinese Lantern Festival. We walked around for two hours, ate some food and watched a lot of performances. After the festival, we headed over to the bourbon for more games.

I hope your weekend was a good one too. Tell me all about it next PuB NiGHT at the Blarney Stone. See you there!

PuB NiGHT Review: 131 Water

We’ve come a long way from where we began. Oh, I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again. So sad this was already the last PuB NiGHT of the year. No, just kidding. We will be back next year with new pubs, games, bingo, beers and karaoke.

This PuB NiGHT was a good one to close this year with. The game Cards Against Humanity was on the table again. And because we had a birthday girl called Linda at our table, we sang Happy Birthday in every language. After the cheap happy hours beers it was time to go. As we already warmed up our throats with the Happy Birthday song, we decided to continue our beautiful singing in the karaoke bar.

Everybody sang some nice songs. Or at least they tried. After all the fun was done we decided to go to get some food. Luckily for us, the DJ was hungry as well. So he brought Rebecka and I with his car to the Roxy. We drank one more beer before eating the very delicious chicken wings. Then, later than expected, the night was really over now.

Thank you all for joining us this PuB NiGHT. Because you will miss the karaoke so much next Wednesday, we will be there singing our favourite Christmas songs all night long. Yes Sebastian, you can sing Lady Gaga again if you want. Happy Christmas and I hope to see you at our NYE party!

INTERNeX Canada: How was your weekend?

It was the most amazing weekend for me. First I went out on Friday to the Roxy’s on Saturday I went to the Fan Expo at the convention centre in Vancouver. Finally on Sunday I went ice-skating with INTERNeX and watch the hockey game in the Doolin’s Pub.

Friday was the last night in Vancouver for a friend of mine and to make it unforgettable, we went out and made it a night to remember. Roxy’s is a nice club and every weekend they have a live band playing popular music. We danced the night away.

Saturday my friend and I went to the Fan Expo. The event was a huge success at the convention centre, so many people were in costume and we got to meet actors like Sander from Buffy the vampire slayer and actors from television series True Blood. Furthermore a new show got promoted called “Continuum” which is about a group of fanatical terrorist escaping their planned execution in the year 2077 and vault back in to the year 2012. We got to meet the cast and they all signed our poster.  The Fan Expo was just an amazing experience.

On Sunday I went ICE SKATING this was so “cool” besides being cold we had a lot of fun. We finally got on the ice and experienced how it is to skate and fly on the ice like hockey players or figure skaters. So many people came and we had tons of fun. Playing tag or just skating circles and trying to stay floating on top of the ice. It was all over to soon.  We should do this again real soon.

INTERNeX Canada: How was your weekend?

There is nothing better than a holiday Monday, so I’m sure most of you are still in weekend mode like I am 🙂

I had a great long weekend catching up with friends and family and celebrating with a nice Easter dinner on Sunday.  The weather was absolutely amazing so I took the opportunity to do some half marathon training.  I did a 17km run in the sun and I have to say it was so nice to run in a t-shirt and not a rain jacket!

There was a Canucks game on Saturday, which always means a busy night downtown, so my friends and I headed out to the Roxy for some music and dancing.  We of course ended up at Roxy Burger for a late night meal, the perfect end to a night.

Did any of you guys celebrate Easter this weekend? Tell us how your weekend went and you’ll have the chance to win some prizes!!

Easter Sunday Feast!

Cheers,
Kristina
