Smart Saver

It is Sunday, so it is also time for our weekly smart saver. This week we also found another great smart saver for you – how would be a music festival for free?

Make Music Vancouver is a music festival with over 100 musicians for free which is inspired by La Fête de la Musique from France. On June 25 the Water Street is shut down to traffic and is transformed into sidewalk stages and dance floors. You will see bands of any kinds of music, everything from rock and reggae to classical, jazz and punk.

Last year, 25,000 people turned out for the event, so it is supposed to be a really big party. So join the party on June 25, 5 pm – 10 pm at Water Street in Gastown for free! Find more information like the Line-Up and times on their homepage!

INTERNeX Canada: Smart Saver Vancouver

Ok, all the people know, Vancouver is an expensive city. But with our “Smart Saver” guide, you can take notes about our little tips to keep your budget safe.

Today, Special 10% discounts for students!

Firstly, do you like Turkish food? Yes? Congratulations! Culture Wrap & Juice, in 101 West Hastings St.! You can found here the typical wraps, feta cheese salads, kebabs and several types of juices, of course.

Secondly, Topshop&Topman! One of the best clothes shops for young people, in my opinion. The design is amazing; they often collaborate with the coolest people in the fashion world like Kate Moss or Mary Katrantzou… and the Granville St. shop is so big and so fantastic… But, have you seen the prices? Oh my god, if in Europe it’s expensive, you can imagine how is in Canada… But don’t worry, if you are completely in love with one of their items, you can use the student discount! You have to bring with you your student’s license or a copy of your enrollment paper.

You can check their websites for more ideas: Topshop.com and Topman.com

Kisses,

Clara.
