INTERNeX Canada: Fun Facts

This month’s big trip to Victoria is coming up very soon!  We are all very excited to visit the Province’s capital, so our fun fact for this week is about Victoria!

Victoria is home to one of the best places to eat in all of the country!  It is an outdoor waterfront eatery that serves delicious dishes from an up-cycled cargo container right on a wooden pier in Victoria’s Inner Harbour.  So what’s so special about this place, besides the fact that of its national reputation of tasty, sustainable seafood?  Did you know that the owner of this joint was a contestant on this season of Top Chef Canada?  The very fact this chef made it as a competitor amongst the best chefs in all of Canada, is proof enough that Red Fish Blue Fish is worth grabbing a bite at.

Want to taste some of the nations best fish and chips? All you have to do is sign up for our Victoria Trip and head over to Red Fish Blue Fish on one of your free afternoons.  There are only 7 spots left on our trip to Victoria, trust us… You do not want to miss out on this!

Happy Sunday 🙂

Cheers,

Kristina

Vancouver Chinatown Spring Festival Celebration

Hi guys!

On Monday I told you something about the Chinese New Year Parade in Vancouver’s Chinatown, remember? What I did not mention so far is, that there is much more besides the fantastic parade!

There will be a cultural fair to see more Chinese New Year performances at the Chinese Cultural Centre Courtyard (50 East Pender Street) between 2 and 4 pm, this celebrative event will feature multicultural performances, special lion dance grand finale and martial arts demonstration.

Next to that, for the gourmets amongst us, the annual Chinese New year Banquet will take place at the Floata Seafood Restaurant, featuring lion dances, greetings by the fortune god and a variety show with singing, cultural dances and more. Reception starts at 6 pm in Chinese. The restaurant is located at #400, 180 Keefer Street. Tickets are $35 each.

So, get excited for Sunday, the 6th of February, when Chinatown is getting crazy! 🙂

Start of the parade: 12.00 noon sharp at the Millennium Gate on Pender Street.

Cheers!
