Tonight is PuBNiGHT!

PuBNiGHT!

Yah it’s Wednesday again – and you know what that means! It’s time for the weekly INTERNeX and Global Work and Travel PuBNiGHT! Last week we had a big, crazy bunch of people attending, let’s see if we can top that this week. So bring all your friends and come to the Blarney Stone. If you are new in town or never been to the PuBNiGHT before, what better thing is there to do on a Wednesday night then to go out and get to know some new friends over a beer.  We promise you will have a good time, and some laughs 😉

Tonight is going to be an extra special night: West Trek and Moose are coming to the PuBNiGHT and are giving away some awesome prizes. Last week West Trek gave away a trip to Whistler, so who knows what they will give away this time. It will be Moose’s first time to our PuBNiGHT, and we’re looking forward to having them both there with us!

As some of you might know INTERNeX is partnering up with Global Work and Travel at the PuBNiGHTS. Global Work and Travel Co. is company that helps Australians come to Canada to work and have fun. Last week we had some of their Staff coming out and tonight hopefully we will have some of their travelers coming out too, so Anna (our only Australian these days) may not be the only Aussie there!

This week we sadly have a few people leaving Canada to go back to Germany, but luckily we also have a few new people coming out. We will do our best to make everyone feel welcome and make sure that everyone has a great time!

We will be at the Blarney Stone at 8.30 pm. See you there!

Crazy PuBNiGHT Last Night!

First of all, let me thank everyone for coming out last night! It was the biggest PuBNiGHT we have ever had! With over 30 people there we pretty much ruled the Blarney Stone! Second, i would like to thank West Trek for coming out and giving away a price! The game they organized was very good and  one of our Candidates was the winner of a free trip to Whistler!

The night was great and before we knew it, there were 30 people all mingling and talking with each other.  At 10 pm the band started playing and some brave people found their way to the dance floor!

West Trek organized a beer pong game, where you had to throw a ping pong ball in a plastic cup. If the ball fell in the cup than you had to drink it. The idea was to get rid of your opponent cups as soon as possible. The last person standing won the Free trip to Whistler. So congrats Emilia, our lovely Swedish candidate for winning the trip! She managed to outplay all the other contestants.

Fun at the Bowling Alley!

Thanks everyone who came out to our Bowling night yesterday, it was a lot of fun!

As it is custom to bowl with 10 pins and a big bowling ball in Europe, we were faced with a bit of a surprise. Bowling in Canada means with 5 pins and a small bowling ball. But after a few trows everyone got the hang of it and we had a few good games. Our high scorers for the night were Verena and Ralf. They really impressed everyone with their Mad Bowling skills! It was Nathalie’s first INTERNeX event and it was great for her to get to know new people. Did get to meet her last night? Come meet her, and other INTERNeX candidates, at our PuBNiGHT tonight. We will meet at the Blarney Stone at 8.30 pm! This PuBNiGHT is extra special because it is also Laura’s last PuBNiGHT as an INTERNeX intern! So be sure to come out!!

PARTY like the IRISH!

After a phenomenal evening at the Blarney Stone last night, we just HAVE to do it again! If you’re feeling irish next week and want to come out for some good times and cheap drinks, join us on August 4 at the Blarney Stone in Gastown!

We had such an awesome time there yesterday, and everyone ended up on the dance floor! If you want to meet other INTERNeX candidates this is your chance! Make friends and chat with people from all over the world!

Wednesday night this bar has some great specials going on, like $4 pints, $4 highballs and 50 cent wings! Drink, eat, dance, sing – whatever! Do it with INTERNeX Wednesday night! No cover so come on out around 8:30 p.m.! If you haven’t been to the Blarney Stone before, this bar has a great atmosphere, and it’s really big! This means there’s tons of room to walk around, and practice those killer dance moves!
