Review: PuB NiGHT at TAPshack

Yesterdays PuB NiGHT was at TAPshack in Coal Harbour and we had a great night! Thank you all for coming!

TAPshack is part of Tap & Barrel and is just a little different. We were the only ones seated inside because the location is not that big, but they do have a big patio, unfortunately we didn’t fit out there.

Because this was our special Rockies PuB NiGHT we had Christian from West Trek there to tell us all about the trip and to answer all of our questions. It was great to see how excited everybody is for our trip and we are really looking forward to go with all of you! As promised we would give away a free optional activity, you can check out our Facebook page to see what you have to do to win here.

We also had a lot of new faces there and it was great getting to know some of you! I also got to catch up with others and we had to say goodbye to someone again, which is always a little sad.

I hope to see you Saturday on Jericho beach!

Review: PuB NiGHT at Tap & Barrel Olympic Village

Yesterday’s PuB NiGHT was at Tap & Barrel in Olympic Village. It was a great night. Thank you for coming!

Tap & Barrel is an eatery with quite some beers on tap, which gives you the feeling of a pub. Besides that they also have wine and ciders on tap. Tap & Barrel has several locations; one in downtown, one in Olympic village and one in North Vancouver. All locations have great terraces, which are perfect now that the weather is finally good enough to sit outside.

Once I arrived at Tap & Barrel, I immediately noticed the big line-up to get a spot in this nice place. Luckily, we got a reservation and we got placed at a long table upstairs. From there we got a nice view on downtown Vancouver. During the night, we catched up on what we all did in the weekend and during the week. It was great to hear about all the plans you made and about what you are still planning on doing. Unfortunately, it was Sebastians and Miriams last PuB NiGHT and therefore we talked a lot about their plans after this big adventure in Canada. This also meant that the flag showed up again.

I hope you all had a great PuB NiGHT and see you tonight at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival!

PuB NiGHT and Next Events

My very first pub night was a success! Thank you all for showing up! I had a great time meeting all of you! Yesterday’s pub night was organized at the Tap & Barrel in the Olympic Village. pub-night-24nov

So many people came that we even had to take more tables to fit everybody. Everyone was nicely chatting with each other and meeting the new INTERNeX people, including me.

The deal on the beer also was a good one! I saw a lot of people enjoying their Mainstreet.

Later in the night when everyone began to go home or to another bar. I also finally went home to get a good night of sleep, hopefully my jetlag will be over next PuB NiGHT and then I will show you how Dutch people really go out!

Next events

On Saturday there will be CandyTown in Yaletown. It’s a Christmas market with lots to do! CandyTown themed cocktails, horse-drawn carriage rides, ice sculptures, food trucks and a ‘All I Want for Christmas’ gift market to pick up gifts for the holidays!

Next week’s pub night will be a welcoming night for the 16 Scandinavian people which are coming here to Vancouver! It will be at the Bismarck Bar, to have enough space to fit all of you!

More info on CandyTown and the next Pub Night will be at the events on our Facebook page!

Thanks for last night guys and I hope to see you Saturday or next week!
